WARNING! Lots of text 'n crud.
FINALLY. THIS BUGGER IS COMPLETE. Took me so long to get the head and legs right and be all persickety about it. There are still flaws, but oh well. It's good enough. I'm tired of fighting with it. Plain background and flatness too because of laziness. And I don't want shadows screwing the colours.
Anyway, this be the Pulse Zaber. One of the first own Zoid designs that I was completely happy with. Funny thing, the inspiration for Pulse Zoids came when I was riding with my mom to church one morning. Kim Wilde's Cambodia was playing. Which made my mind flash to the cover by Pulsedriver. Then that flung my thoughts to the Descent series, and the Mass Driver of Descent 3. Hey presto, inspiration. A Zoid that uses a weapon called a "Pulse Driver". The basic colour scheme also jumped into my head for some reason. I like crazy colour schemes like that, so STFU. Pulse Zaber was initially a liger at first, but changed to a tiger after thinking about my reliable Zaber Fang that I had on Legacy. And basically my love for the Zaber Fang Zoids. Plus, hardly anyone designs tigers. It's always Ligers, Genos, Furys, or wolves. :/
Anyway, onto GEEKERY: Pulse Zabers are very reliable Zoids, much like their Zaber Fang cousins were. Not uber zoids, but won't easily be beaten by some silly Liger Zero. Or other silly ligers, for that matter, save Energy Liger, because it's UBER. They can be used for a wide variety of missions, although they're not the strongest in the stealth area, unless fitted with some extra devices.
Their most devastating aspect is the dual Pulse Drivers mounted on their back. The shots from these guns are powerful, but what really sets them apart is that on contact with the target, pulsing vibrations are set off. These vibrations are like minature tremors, which may cause a number of problems from system interference, to loosening of parts or armour. The vibrations also help the shots to tear through armour. They are also armed with a shock cannon on the underside, and small facial pulse vulcans on their faces. These are weaker than the main Pulse Drivers, and are more effective on weakened points on the enemy, as well as repelling Zoids that are coming in too close for the Zaber's comfort.
The Pulse Zaber is not without close combat weapons, though. The claws can do a lovely number on the enemy, and Pulse Zabers are known to have a nasty bite. Pulse Zabers are hardy, and don't easily give up in a fight, sometimes seeming fearless or reckless. Mocking the opponent with short roars is also in order with them.
END GEEKERY.
The design of the basic body was slightly inspired my Murasame Liger and Rayse Tiger. I love the bendy-looking body design. The rest...I dunno. BRAINSPEW. Designing the head was a struggle, though. The top is the basic colour of the unit, the bottom one (Red) is Haidar's current colour. Haidar is pretty much my personal Zoid.
Thus...About Haidar: A silly, playful Zoid, but can be deadly serious in battle, and has the natural hardy disposition of Pulse Zabers. Though, even in battles he can get a little silly, but nothing too endangering. Just a little hyperactive. When not in battle, he's shrunken down (will be explained in the future), and enjoys lazing about with Deru, his fellow Zoid. Or chasing things. Or exploring the area. Whatever tickles his fancy at the time. Hates cars. Likes the Mr. Men for some odd, unexplainable reason.
...And THAAAAT'S the end of it. If I need to add anything, I'll edit it.
Enjoy! :3
