My new Liger Zero custom, Liger Zero Nemesis. Still need to detail paint, but I think he looks cool so far. His dragon wings are poseable and detachable. All the armor is also detachable. I stuck in a red LED light to make his eyes glow all cool like. Made poseable with bionicle joints. That glowing eye creeps me out esp whith that little white dot. It just looks like he's going to kill you

It's a pity they don't make red eyepieces for LZ.

Clear red paint + orange eyes will work for making red eyes...heck, I think even a red Sharpie will, but test it on a hidden bit first.
How'd you get that cool kinda gradienty red-and-black effect? It's all swooshy!

heck, I think even a red Sharpie will, but test it on a hidden bit first. I tried that on my Schneider... It doesn't turn out as great as it does on the canopies. (Crikey and SableWolf both have red canopies... Problem is, it works great on canopies if you colour the inside, not the outside, that way the sharpie sheen is hidden from light.) On the Liger Zero eyepieces, there's such a small area that you need light to shine on it to see the colour, and the sheen from red sharpies is a bit golden. As can be seen here, on FredMun.If you don't mind an odd golden shine, it could work.

It's all swooshy! lol I just wish they'd make eyes colors other than orange. I really love the green eyes the Imperial/Hailstorm Liger Zero has. I first spray painted the parts black, then went back and sprayed the red holding the can farther away so it doesn't completely coat the piece. I pretty much just messed around with doing that until I ended up with something I liked. OH! And speaking of LZ's green eyes. I'm working on him now and I have another one of those LEDs I'm putting in his head that's green, so his eyes will glow too! The LED lights I use in their heads are taken out of those bionicle swords that light up. After you cut out the right square they fit perfectly in LZ's head.

O.O How did I miss this?!?!?! XD A VERY nice custom. Love the wings, I can't imagine seeing him flying towards you. XD Great paint job too!
You're right the more I look at Nemesis' eye the more I think he's out to get me. XD It has an eerie yet life-like look to it. Kind of reminds me of bio zoid eyes, in the anime at least, they had pupils.
Quick question, I noticed you said you used an LED from a bionicle. Did you wire it into the gear box? And if so, may I ask how? I'm thinking of making one of my zoids light up, just not sure how to go about doing so. ^^;; I was thinking of ripping the gears out and just creating a curcuit with wire through the switch and battery cavity up to the head.

well, the zoids run at 3 volts, which is the ideal LED voltage, so if you could care less about walking, just snip the wires from the motor and run them to the led, or if you do care, solder new wires on, since led's draw little power, so you can run both at the same time
