ARROWS! ... Gates I need to get back in the habit of practicing archery. I'd have to first practice pulling back on the bow... I salvaged a 40 pound bow from my grand-dad. So much resistance! @_@ I let the string go wrong a few times and had a "lovely" yellow bruise on my arm. Yes. Yellow. Rimmed in purple. I wear an arm protector now.
</ramble>

Yeah, 40 pounds is... rather strong ^^; We sold a 32 pound bow with arrows at a boot sale once, and this little kid came up and wanted to buy it! ^^; When we refused to sell it to him he went and got his Dad. Luckily his Dad agreed that it's not a toy XD

Hmm... yes. Quite. Old school Castlevania games like Rondo of Blood and the original kick my ass though.
I've yet to clear Stage 2 of the original Castlevania.
God damn Medusa Heads... >_>

Low budget Legolas, eh? ;D Looked fun though but never got round to doing it. My finest moment was doing my impression of Jason Connery in Robin of Sherwood: (2:33) ;D BTW Celtic, you might want to invest in a bracer for your left arm (I presume you're right handed?), then if the string whacks when you let go it doesn't bruise you. I miss archery, sadly we just haven't got the place to do it anymore, can't get back to those woods you see, otherwise I'd still be doing it. Oh, and one other thing...don't do archery in long grass, or if you do, take a metal detector...when the arrows go in flat they're a REAL sod to find again!

Doubt we'd have something like that around here. But definitely sounds fun!

@electric - I do have an arm guard... Not sure if it's the same thing, but ya. XD; It works. Funny thing is, I'm constantly told I need finger guard things, but they mess up my already freakishly bad aim. XD

XD Probably is the same thing Regarding the finger guards, is that on your drawing hand (which I presume is your right?) to help stop the drawstring cutting into your fingers? I think I might have had one at one point, it is a little awkward though. Trust me though, your aim cannot be as bad as mine When I was about seven at a village fete once I had the chance to use a bow and arrow to fire at a target which had fancy balloons around it to make it look pretty, I missed the target completely and hit one of the balloons And don't get me started on my aim at Darts ;D Ghostie has a picture of just how well I throw darts...
