Ok, surprisingly there isn't a thread about this yet so here it goes! Which do you prefer better, the standard motorized zoid models, or the super detailed/poseable HMM models??? For me, as someone who loves to do custom paint jobs, the HMM zoids are a dream come true (until their price tags shows up and then becomes a nightmare D:). I love how there's tons of little details to paint and how there's a lot of parts. It makes it so much more enjoyable that I can take a piece of a leg and spray instead of spending hours taping a leg with a single piece not covered *COUGH my Shield Liger repaint COUGH* ... Shadow Fox was a pain for that too -_-b Anyway, doesn't mean I don't like the motorized zoids. They're fun to make multiple customs since they usually show up on ebay pretty cheap and there's a variety. If money wasn't a factor, I'd so get more HMM Blade Ligers and make a Night Fight custom... a Mirage... a Leon version... *rambles on*

uh, well, I would LIKE to own an HMM, and there is really no comparison between them, other then that the kits can walk forward... *cries* I want an hmm... oh well, I'll just keep working on my custom Konig till anyone who has an HMM is freaking jealous at its complexity and awesomeness, and that it makes the super complex HMM's look like those tiny rubber zoids in comparison XD
Its getting there, I've made over 100 custom parts for it, and 20 LED modules XD

The standard kits are a unique combination of model and toy that appeal to the take-things-apart, see-how-they-work geek in me.
The HMM, by contrast, don't really do it for me other than the fact they're Zoids; if they weren't, I wouldn't have any interest in them. I like my posable stuff to be more toy, which is why the Revoltech stuff makes me quite curious.

I guess you have a point there, and the fact that there are some kits that there are no HMM's of, and that you can get over 10 kits for under the price of 1 HMM if you shop right XD

I esp love seeing the Gordos and Deathpion move. Heh Revoltechs are fun. Pretty durable things.

I think it's a tie. XD I love HMM's as I love posing my zoids in epic battle stances but you can't beat the classic kits.
I went on an HMM kick for a while and then purchased a regular TOMY kit and realized how much I missed putting them together. >.>;; I just don't think you can easily replace the originals that spawned all of our interests in zoids.
Can't wait to see how the Revoltech line works and what zoids they are going to make. I would assume Blade Liger is going to be one of the firsts since we've seen its head. XD Depending on how I like the line will probably get a few as long as they don't break my wallet. Please Revoltech bring them to America with the Genesis anime or something! ;D

I already own 4 revoltechs so I can tell you guys they're nicely built. Joints are pretty sturdy although my one of the Griffon Patlabor is starting to get a little loose and one of the really little joints on his wing broke, but this is mostly from me playing with him too much and his encounter with Hayate Liger >_>; If you guys want, I can take pics of the ones I have so you can see the how the joints work and the kinds of plastic they are. Actually should just start a new thread about the revoltech zoids... @itty: Do you ever just google something to find out for yourself instead of always asking? XD

I like the tinies... does anyone else? XD I have two from a pack my brother bought way back when, the other four got sold off accidentally at a garage sale in a bin of hot wheels. XD They're ok, not my fav.'s as they're so tiny and non-posable/ walkable. Definitely would prefer receiving an HMM or regular zoid over them any day. Besides my cat likes to try and eat them... :X Oh I have the Dark Horn and Gun Bluster Gashas. Those were the two I salvaged from my bro. XD
