It does! ;D Black and Orange! ^^ We do celebrate Halloween here in Oz... it depends really XD Ah! cool cool. I couldn't remember if it was a US only holiday or not ^^; *just checked out Phenotype's forum banner* ; Oh man that is way to busy and there is totally no hierarchy what so ever! Then the busy type is the same color as the busy background. Spacing is good, but the lack of hierarchy kills it. Ok, glad I got that off my chest. Another case of more elements doesn't make it better. I have to say Ghostie's use of minimalism is much more effective... whether she knew is was minimalism or not... XD; @celtic: lolz XD

I have to say Ghostie's use of minimalism is much more effective... whether she knew is was minimalism or not... XD; I knew that it was something simple that wouldn't tax my brain too much at this point in time XD

._.
I don't see how me just posting my opinion makes me eligible to get yelled at... I personally dislike scaling images down, It makes them look all crumpled...
and I didn't know what the dsc-j theme was... I'm sorry for just offering an idea... I never intended to thing the world revolved around me, sorry... *cries in corner*

Itty. We have an image sizing restriction for several reasons: 1. Pages can load faster with less work to do 2. Not every one's monitors is OMG 22 inches OF AWESOMENESS or whatever everyone crows about 3. Not everyone likes to use scrolls to see a full image (I hate doing it just to see a whole pic)
And if you're worrying about image looking crumpled. Have you ever tried using a function in Photoshop called "Image Size"? It downsizes images without pixelling it or such. I use this function all the time with my scanned images and they turn out brilliant anyway.
And I will say it again in another way: Not everyone's internet is fast. Not everyone's computer is big (especially with the availability of MINI-Laptops). Not everyone got more than 1GB of RAM to handle the image load if the images continues to be so big.
Now then, I've been trying my best to be as nice as possible. Just be lucky I'm not like those bigshot Mods who'd probably easily ban you for large images or such.

but my monitor is only 19 inches... and that was one of my first posts on the forum, before I heard of the 800 pixel limit... and it was already edited... sorry.

yes but have you even tried considering that not everyone got a computer with space age speed and such? It doesn't matter if you never saw the image sizing rule. I ALWAYS consider everyone's technology availability and size my images accordingly.

I never intended to thing the world revolved around me, sorry... Oh really? Then why phew... Its a good thing I don't really care for most of those zoids, or that I already have them... XD It's not like the lot was brought for you. Then why It's not like you couldn't have said something nice to her instead of lusting. Then why hey... it says you have two Ptere's... can I buy one? XD I might have plans for the pteras already. If I intended to sell/trade it, then I would've posted it on the forum titled "Members Selling/Trading Board." Wait for that to happen instead of begging. Then why hey, you see any of my zoids fan art? Self promoting is annoying, especially on someone else's art thread. It's not your thread so don't promote yourself, you have your own thread. Then why but my monitor is only 19 inches... That is YOUR MONITOR. What is the default wallpaper size when you go to wallpaper sites? The largest is 1042. That should be a dead giveaway. I could go on... I'm sorry if this is pissy, but I'm getting tired of your egocentric behavior, it gets really tiring really fast. Aaand, Deathy beat me to the picture thing. I put "Image Heavy" warnings on something with many pictures. Why? Because believe it or not, some people are still on dialup. And do you know what your pictures do to people on dialup? It MURDERS them. Stabs them in the gut and tears their spleen out. A link or a smaller picture that doesn't rape their connection would be preferred. And even on cable, it hurts, it distorts the page so that any comments needing to be read under it have to be scrolled left... to right... Up... and down... And the horizontal scroll doesn't WORK in Firefox. *tailthrashes, goes off to maim something*

wow... now that you show it like that I really do look bad... sorry... ._.
I'll behave better, I promise... I know all the rules and what I did wrong now, so we should be better! Right?

addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/2108@namespace url(http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml);
@-moz-document domain("ghostliger.proboards.com") { img {max-width: 700px !important;} } Replace 700px with something else, if you desire. <3 Stylish, it's great for fixing little nagging problems you have with a layout.

Well now XD;
Ok, instead of fighting, let's look at it logically. As I mentioned before, text is void of emotion. It's impossible to tell exactly what the original meaning the person had in mind when they wrote the text down. For instance, Itty could've initially wrote those things being sarcastic/ joking around or could've been completely serious. We can't tell. The best solution I think is to simply write *sarcasm* or *jokingly* when you write.
The things Itty wrote do sound very selfish to me, but I also have a friend who's humor is very sarcastic and says things like that all the time as sarcasm. There's just no way in telling. Therefore I take no sides and take no words as being truth.
In conclusion, this whole fight is pointless seeing you guys killing each other without knowing the other person's personal thoughts is pointless.
*Now ending analysis of both sides*
