I would like to know why Kotobukiya are kind of wasting their time on reissuing a Zoid, why don't they realize that there are still a lot of people out there into Zoids? They could better spend their time maybe coming out with a HMM Konig Wolf  Because it's a cheap way for them to make more money. They already have the molds, so all they have to spend money on is the actual manufacturing of the kit, no R&D. Put it this way, they could be re-issuing these to make more money to spend on R&D for a Konig Wolf. It makes sense that they're doing this. I mean have you seen the prices the original kits are selling for now? There's obviously a demand for them out there. I will definitely be picking one of these guys up, absolutely love the color. I just feel bad for the people who just bought one at an exorbitant price.  Yeah. Since the original release sold out so quick, Kotobukiya must be seeing a demand for them. And they won't care one jot about preserving the rarity of the Zoid, because they don't get anything out of the high price the Zoid fetches now. Date, maybe. Plastic colour, I'm not entirely sure, but not likely. Boxart? Judging by the promo pics, I'd have the say the boxart is most likely going to be the same. |

@ghostie- I know! Even though I absolutely love the boxart, and don't mind them reusing it, you would think that they would at least change it to make the originals hold their value against the reissues.
With the plastic color I was getting more at, since it won't be the same dye-lot as the originals, the color might be slightly off from the original release, then again I'm sure they have machines mixing the colors so they wouldn't get the dye mixing wrong. >.>;;

I'm a command wolf fanatic (I got pissed off when Risky claimed Deathy's white command wolf, and even more so when I got a zoids lot because I saw a white wolf and it ended up being a very crappily painted-over AC, if that gives you any idea), and I was certain I'd never get a Command Wolf empire, so this release is a frickin' GODSEND. |
