Eh, the feet are interesting, but how well would they brace for the cpc?
I assumed the Deathy's feet were so big and heavy and flat on the ground to keep it from falling backwards. *shrug* But then again, what do I know?

In the anime I always though it was because the Zoid is so big and heavy that the force of the CPC wasn't strong enough to shift it, but I never thought about it for the kit scale version before. Although, I have a theory for the resin Deathy: Maybe those bits pointing backwards are like foot locks. It points those down and the force of the CPC pushes them into the ground and anchors it maybe?

thats a good idea... and since the deathy is so freaking massive it doesn't matter, the spike will just go through anything

The Massive one is Chaotic Century based (as they like to make anything bigass). The Original Death Saurer isn't that much bigger.... Here's a comparison photo (thanks to Ghostie):

wow... the one on the right looks even scarier XD and they are not to scale... right? ^^; They are all 1/72 scale. In the original battle story, this is the true height difference between those three Zoids.

They upscaled the Death Saurer drastically to make it more dangerous and more "Final boss" like. They did the same with the Ultra to give them something to match.

oh... why was I thinking that Hiltz did something like opening the core up and trying to suck up Raven and Van like a vacuum... must have been a fanfic XD
