As the title says: I'm looking for the instructions for the Salamander (or Krark). I think I might start cleaning up my two old Zoids this weekend so they'll be as shiny as my new Zoids. I found the instructions for Gojulas online, but fail to find and for Krark.
As he's kind of a complex Zoid I don't dare dissasembling him without instructions to rebuild him.
So... if anyone has these, can scan them, or perhaps just point me to a site where I can download then (Hasbro doesn't have them!) I'll be a very happy Zoider and Krark will be eternally grateful! ;D

If you can wait til after Christmas I'll have Krark instructions I can scan, but unfortunately I don't know where my Salamander instructions are. I suspect they in the box with the others at my parents house, but I won't be able to get there til weekend after this

Heya Ghosty, just the reg. Sally instructions are OK. It's the same Zoid as Krark parts-wise. It would be awesome if you or anyone could scan those for me!

You're lucky to have a complete Sally/Krak XD
Because the one I got is headless, tail-less, wing-less and missing a foot XD Poor guy. So... I'm trying to get him restored but it seems not every Zoider I meet got spare parts ._. I'm gonna keep trying tho...

Yeah, that can really be a pain to get parts it seems. I still don't know what I'll do with the rubber caps that lost their grip. But I figure if I just pull both Zoids apart and clean them up I'll have more motivation to try some ideas on making those caps stick again. Blu Tac, rubber tape or rubber paint or in the worst case epoxy glue... These Zoids gotta WALK again!

You can find it here ;D Luckily Hasbro puts up all their instructions on their site. They released it as "Pteramander"

Alright! Thanks Shadow! I was looking at there for either Salamander or Krark. Never thought it could also be an other name. ;D
Ghosty, that means you don't have to scan! But thanks for the offer of course!

'tis no problem ^^
Although, just to let you know, the Pteramander instructions contains details for construction of the missile launchers, since Pteramander and the other Salamander variants require this to be done, unlike what I heard about Krark (His are prebuilt no?)

yeah, I recommend actually downloading those instructions just incase they take down the site for what ever reason *grieves in loss of other misc stuff due to that reason*
also, for the caps, try and squeeze them and hold them squeezed for a little while, it lets them grip a tad better, its my little trick. Temporary, but it works enough to get the job done XD

Instructions have been downloaded. The missilelaunchers are the same pieces on Krark, except that the "nose" of the missiles themselves are one with the launchers. There's no spring-mechanism, but they look just the same otherwise. As for my caps, I think they're too far gone to revive. They're from the mid-eighties so pretty old. Tonight I tried an other trick: Soak a cap in car tire-shine stuff (as I tried before) but then press it in a tube that has an inner diameter that fits the cap snugly. Let soak for a while, and press it out again. But it doesn't help, the cap stays deformed and the grip is as terrible as before. I'm afraid it'll either be glue or I could try if HLJ can get new caps for me from Tomy. Problem is, I don't know the part-numbers for the type of caps Gojulas and Salamander uses.

That and most Zoids are discontinued now, so even HLJ won't be able to get them. All I can think of is cap switching from another Zoid, but with that you may have to take what you can get, unless you're willing to shell out for a Gojulas or Salamander for the caps.
If you don't mind gold though, I think I may have an entire unused set of Gil Dragon's around somewhere... that is if I didn't already give them to Celtic *Can't remember* ^^;

Gundam Store And More also has Salamanders for 13 USD right now...but then you'd be stuck with a poor no-capped Salamander! They also have this, so maybe worth asking? www.gundamstoreandmore.com/parts-store.html...though I'm not sure how that works internationally D:. Might be worth asking them about that (or to get someone in the US to forward stuff, I wouldn't mind).
