This is my first custom plan that WILL go ahead. At the moment it's in planning with some mock-up shots. There is a few things it'd need for me to completely plan the entire thing before I start hacking things. Plus a visit to the nice big Hobby Shop to look at Dremel stuff (provided I save enough to buy what I need, anyone who can recommend what Dremel to grab?). Here's a few shots (ph34r my blue foodplace bandaid, supposedly, blue can kill bacterias.... idk about that XD) : Neck part: Dark Spiner's hip armour will cover up the mouth of the Dark SpinerNeck part attached to body: side shotHead/neck: front shotAnd before some may ask (if you know the Star Trek world well or have seen Star Trek Nemesis), yes, it was inspired by my favourite Romulan Warbird, the Valdore: www.dolphintheweb.be/tng/images/vaisseaux/romuliens/valdore-screen.jpg

Nice, walking Zoid will FLY! I like the idea, and look forward to seeing the progress! BTW, only inspired by the general shape I hope ? In my opinion the Valdore is terrible... I never understand the need to make CGI-designs so over-complicated and full of useless details.

I liked the Valdore XD And looked at my scrapped up Dark Spiner and thought of creating a custom inspired by the looks of the Valdore. I nearly decided on a Scimtar-inspired shape with Buster Eagle's wings but his parts aren't so easy to acquire so I settled with Fire Phoenix's parts.

The armour covering the mouth gives it more of a birdlike appearence.

Yes, now it needs a lot of small windows painted on... So this Zoid can be some huge space-faring ship... Scale 1/gazillion or something thereabouts. ;D

I am suddenly reminded I once wanted to paint a spare Fire Phoenix in warbird-ish colors. I still have this sun-faded one...
Yay Romulan ships :D.

You know I just noticed you have a band-aid on your thumb XD random~ Yeah XD Foodgrade bandaid from McDonalds. Cut my thumb on an innocent little drain blocker thing (that catches food) >: Had to switch for the blue bandaid, because of some food place safety thingy. Comrade Tilly: Romulan ships FTW ;D

Yeah it's always the stupid little stuff that cuts you. Yah, always is. How random that the show I just channel surfed away from had a kid going "You wanna talk about cuts?! PAPER CUTS. It's just paper, right? But it HURTS. And how is that possible, paper isn't sharp! (time lapse) So why do they keep you from taking a poket knife on an airplane? They should keep you from taking paper on a plane because in all my 12 years I've never cut myself on a pocketknife..."
