That's looking nice so far! I had a metal flake coat under a clear bllue one peel recently...thankfully only on one piece. I wondered about the clearcoat thing too >_>.

Black is cool too of course, but for modelskits I usually think it's kinda boring. That said, pink usually isn't my thing either but I really learned to appreciate it. Somehow people always think it's daring, get's discussions started, jokes being made. It's fun. ;D

Hmm... Now I wonder how my Death Saurer will look in silver with a pink underside...

@ Tilly >>> Actually, I did the "don't do that to your clean paintjob"-test, and rubbed the pink on some parts that will be painted over anyway. and it did come loose. Really, these Mr. Metal Color's aren't suitable for over-painting. But I think a clearcoat will at least keep the pink on. Or, for a normal static modelkit this would be the case. I really hope it'll be strong enough so I can still enjoy the Molga's awesome wind-up action without damaging the paint.
