not really sure Bronze would fit...
I wish I knew what the pink cap that came from one of the Enigma Trio came from, that would fit... But I have only one. XD; *puts it on the blindside of spartak*
I think Black might fit better, it would go with the wheel. Depending on the shade, Red might be bright compared to the pastel pink and light grey.

The bronze isn't really bronze as you'd think it is. I use (see cockpit insert below) a bronze that's a bit brighter, as if a bit of gold is mixed in. At least, that's what ik looks like to me. Black caps would probably work. But the problem is that I only have a couple spare ones, and I'm saving them to put on my Storch. Just put the thing together (and found out that the gloss varnish hasn't hardened completely yet...). The red dark brownish caps are the ones that came with the Molga. I'm not sure about the CP... I painted it in two shades but there's too close together and it's hardly (if even at all) noticable. I may overspray some parts (main barrel, "handles" and some details) with a lighter metallic instead.    As you can see, most noticable on the "back cover", the gloss varnish really gave the metallics a deep shine, which I'm pretty happy with. |

That red matches the pink almost Hiou-ly.

You should call it .... (drumroll please) THE PINK MENACE. </unoriginality> XDDDDD TBH the Molga doesn't look *too* bad. Tho he may look better with black caps or if you can give it a layer of metallic black or silver, it may just look better. I just don't know if paint can stick to the caps ^^; |

Haha, I knew you were eventually going to like it Deathy.  And yeah, that's what I'm worried about too. I've only heard bad things from people trying to paint poly-stuff (forgot the complete name, the rubbery stuff). I'll think about it. Actually maybe I can fit Storch's caps on him. They're kinda tan/bronze. Or I could just wait till I get more black caps. |

I was considering testing enamel paint on my spare cap to see how well it will work I did plan to paint some caps before.

Deathy, I think you'll need to at least primer them to be on the safe side. That said, I know of one way that works: Use the new Hasegawa masking liquid as a primer. Sounds weird I know, masking stuff as primer, but the Maschinen Krieger guys have had good results with that. I'd try it myself, but I don't have that stuff here. Celtie, that pink cap is... interesting.  I tried finding it, but can't find anything on it either. |

I checked with ZP and pointed the admin at this thread. Looks like I can enter the contest, but there has to be more alterations to the Zoid that can not be shown. So... I think I'll continue silently on this one and only update when the final pics are up on ZP. Sorry guys.  |
