ShadowBlade: I would LOVE a HMM Lighting Saix, it is on my wishlist for Koto. If Koto follow their usual model-releasing pattern, it takes more time for Koto to put out new zoid than re-clolored ones w/ extras. Look how long it took for Gun Sniper to come out since it been announced. If they announce HMM Saix today, it won't come out till middle of summer at very earliest. Yeah that's what I was thinking. Might use my birthday/x-mas money to get this. I'd really liked another Saber since it's my fav in the line so far.

*Jumps on it* wheeee! And Early bird discount too!
@ wolftiger: Yeah, it's nice to see they retained that wing posability from the original Great Sabre.
That's why I always go with HLJ. Gives me time to save up.
And as for the name, the original was spelt Sabre... At least, the TDP re-release was anyway, but I've found the spelling of Saber to be really inconsistant. (Yes, I spell it Saber ^^; )
The vintage ones all seem to be spelt Sabre (Or Zabre in the OERs case) and the newer ones all seem to be spelt Saber or Zaber (with the exception of the aformentioned TDP re-release)

www.amiami.com/shop/Someone on the Maschinen Krieger forum posted this shop as being very good and they have pretty heavy discounts on about all items. It seems they also sell Zoids (mostly HMM), and have a pre-order for Great Saber: www.amiami.com/shop/?set=english&vgForm=ProductInfo&sku=TOY-RBT-1097&template=default/product/e_display.htmlPretty good deal if you ask me. Mind you, if you have them ship by SAL they charge an extra 700yen handling fee. Although I'm not even sure if this box size can be shipped by SAL. I order a Maschinen Krieger Lunadiver (as I still didn't have one) and a Mr. Cap Opener (to spare my teeth in the future opening those Gunze bottles) to see how it goes.

Holy shit! That's good O.O Do you know if they require payment when you make the pre-order, or can you wait til it's released?

From the FAQ: - Your pre-orders will be invoiced after we have all of your order items ready.

Well, to push you over the edge: I know I'd jump on it if I didn't already have a regular Saber and didn't like motorized Zoids more.

Well, to push you over the edge: I know I'd jump on it if I didn't already have a regular Saber and didn't like motorized Zoids more. Order placed... A saving of 1480 yen is nothing to be sneezed at... that's approx. £10 saving for me... provided there ain't too much of a price difference in shipping costs. Lemme know how your order goes Vargen, if it's good, I'll cancel the HLJ order.

Will do. Though I'm sure it'll go OK judging from the experieces from the (respectable) guy who posted it at the Ma.K. forum. The only thing I'm worried about is customs hitting me. But there's even more chance of that with HLJ and those shout-out boxes they use.

But there's even more chance of that with HLJ and those shout-out boxes they use. Oh hell yeah... actually that may just save me some... I just remembered why I had a go at HLJ for their boxes. They posted a Zoid to me... I think it was Saber Schwalz... in a box twice the size of the zoid's box and packed the rest with insulation. I contacted them and asked why they found it necessary to pack in such a big box, since UK charges extra for bigger boxes. They reponded to me with "We don't stock boxes that size and we won't cut them up because they lose stablity" Let's hope Amiami won't be so obsessed with how their boxes look...

Ya, it was initiated a few years back. They have this little thing now for letters that they slide them through to see if they're small enough for the stamp you put on them... ¬¬
I never used to get customs charges before this came in...
I recall years ago getting Death Saurer and Geno Breaker MIB in the same parcel... not a whiff of a charge there, yet, single boxes the size of Saber SS now cost me about £10-£15!

XD You shoulda seen me when I had to pick up RCZ Gilvader and King Gojulas... they came in the same box... The poor woman behind the counter was so short she had to shift it along the floor. Getting it over the counter was fun... and expensive ^^;
