These two customs are my latest ones:
Sea Drache:
Here the story:
The Guylos Empire has always boasted superior naval zoids compared to the Helic Republic’s. It is rather startling in recent months: any zoids the Empire sends to explore the ocean’s depths return in pieces or disappear entirely. What’s left of the ruined zoids yields few clues about the attackers. All the information reveals that a few minutes before the zoid’s demise static causes disruption to the sensors, then a shock of electricity causes the zoid’s systems to be paralyzed. What happens next truly alarms the Empire. The data on the zoids is hacked into and any intelligence information and orders the zoids carry is compromised. Many Empire soldiers now believe that the new menace in the dark depths of the ocean is a ghost that jealously guards its territory.
The new menace is called Sea Drache.
The photo are overexpose, making color lighter than they are but it showoff the sparkly paint. I had entered Sea Drache in Zoidpoison's 2009 custom contest
Sea Drache is my first kitbash zoid and I did it without use of dremel.
Dark Lord:
The Story:
With the rise of Neo-Zenebas, the Guylos Empire was forced to ally with their former enemy, the Helic Republic, to combat this newest threat.
Not all people in Guylos were happy with the situation, especially the alliance. Some wanted to bring back the famed Dark Zoids, and these people called themselves the Dark Army. The Dark Zoids were powerful in nature but old in design, so many newer designs of zoids could easily evade the powerful weapons of a dark zoid, and have weapons rivaling them. These small groups of people were dedicated to dark zoids and decided to make or “convert” new designs for a dark zoids army. They found a failed prototype of Energy Liger, succeeded in fusing deochalcum to its core, turning it into the newest dark zoid in centuries. They called their new creation the Dark Lord.
Dark Lord is capable of producing deochalcum energy without needing more deochalcum since its “birth.” Capable of fueling any dark zoids in minutes, it is an asset to an army of dark zoids. The boosters on its back can propel the heavy armored Dark Lord to the speed of Liger Zero Jager. When the boosters are in use, the flare of energy gives the impression of wings that can slice zoids that get too close. The 144 mm machine guns are fueled by deochalcum energy and capable of ripping all but the heaviest armors to shreds. Dark Lord can use the head blade and claws for melee combat, making it the deadliest zoid against any army it faces.
Dark Lord had been my project for three years, because I had hard time finding the right paint. I finally succeeded finding glow-in-dark spray paint. Yes, that means all of green parts glows when lights are off. I currently had Dark Lord in the Zoidpoison 2010 Custom Contest , he is enrty #3.
I had been calling him Dell (short for Dark Energy Liger Lord.)
Someday, I will post my other 20 some customs (mostly repaints).
