Just curious as to how you learned of the whole thing. And what's your favorite episode of all time?
For me, Zoids Shinseiki/0 came on before Sailor Moon in the 4 o'clock block on Toonami way back when and I was a big Sailor Moon fan. When I didn't have homework, I used to watch Toonami early and saw Zoids. Needless to say, I was super happy when they finally replaced Ronin Warriors with something more decent. God, back then, I watched all of Toonami cause I'd watch DBZ, Tenchi, and Outlaw Star. I think I remember first watching Zoids CC when it came on early in the morning. My parents thought I was crazy to wake up early to watch it. I have the whole thing taped, lol and I was super excited to see the "Final Four" when it came on. And I used to think CC was really stupid...
My favorite episode is 遠い星空 touihoshizora. The Distant Stars. I just love learning Japanese!

I just stumbled across it one day. I was adverse to continuous series (like Classic Zoids) so when I saw NCZ (which I saw first), I first started watching it because it didn't matter if you missed an episode or two, you wouldn't be confused/lost. (First episode was the one where Leena pretended to be in love with Bit and they did that blind battle in the old city XD)
After a while, it grew on me.
gosh... favourite episodes. In NCZ, no doubt, it was the ... the Fi... the ... fuh... the coll... the ... crap. The one where they kidnap Liger Zero and Stoller is supposed to win "no matter what", but has a moral conflict with his orders.
Classic? ... bleh, I dunno. Probably that episode where Rosso kidnaps Rudolf. (Yes, it's because Bianco's a freaking hottie and I like him SHUT UP.)
Genesis? ... That one episode where Zairin finds out the truth behind the "robot" pilots of the biozoids.
Out of those, I can't chose one over the other. XD;

I've had the whole truth thing ruined for me several times over and the series is just so depressing, every single episode has something bad happening in it. However, I kinda like storylines like that, I sometimes wished CC/GF had continued to develop a little more before the Death Saurer. The whole world as we know is destroyed kinda plot didn't play out well. I mean the only thing that really changed was New Helic City was ruined. yippee. Tis fun to watch though because I'm learning Japanese right now and it's really awesome when I understand what they are saying. It also helps alot with speaking because in Japanese, there are no stressed syllables, but a lot of pitch changes and it can really define what you are trying to say. Bianco is pretty badass, I agree.

I sort of wished CC/GF had more silly episodes/filler. I enjoyed those the most. They lacked Raven or Hiltz and were enjoyable in the silly way and that's why I liked them. Of course, characterization's important too.

If you want depressing Zoids stuff that also manages to be cheesy, try the UK comic or battle story.
UK comic has the bonus of being in English (but as a warning, has no ending thanks to Canceled), battle story has the bonus of being educational if you're learning Japanese XD.

Lets see, I pretty much came across zoids the same as micgray. Always watched Toonami after school so the first one I saw Was Zoids NC. Then I started watching Zoids CC in the morning too before school. Fuzors I watched online. I still don't like it much, but I do like Burton (jeez is he EXACTLY like Starscream in every way possible). Also watched Genesis online. I only watched it once since I hate reading subs so I don't really remember much of it other than loving the Murasame and it's other forms.
My fav series is NC closely followed by CC/GF. TIGERS TEAM FTW!

Since this relates to the Zoids anime, I have shifted it to this section.
Okai lemme see.... I was channel surfing at like 7am in the morning, school day. Happened upon the New Century Zero ep of the 3 Zabers chasing Liger Zero if I can recall. Then went to school. Was talking about the shows from the morning and mentioned the Zabers and one boy said "oh, that's Zoids."
Interested, I went home, jumped on the net (back then, I sucked at searching for what I wanted and landed on useless sites). Then another boy, one of my best friends (or was... idk, ain't seen him in ages...) had a Dark Spiner and Zaber Fang model. He gave me a Zaber Fang for my B'Day around the same time I grabbed a Shadow Fox ;D So those two are pretty special to me.

I came across Zoids back when I lived in California. It used to come on at night, and I always watched it. I watched a lot of TV back then, so I didn't often have favourite TV programs, but I was hooked on Zoids NC0 and Gundam SD force. Then, just before they cancelled Zoids, I moved to the UK and never saw it again. All I had to watch zoids was my NC0 dvd, and all I had left of the toys was a wrecked Gun sniper action figure and several mini zoids, which my mum got rid of, and then I forgot all about zoids until last year. A sad yet true tale XD

With me, I think I got up early for college and stuck the TV on randomly because I had time to kill. It was episode 3 of Chaotic Century. From that point on I just started getting into watching it before College.
A while later the UK ads for the kits came on (Tried to find it online, but the only place I can find that had the UK ad wants me to pay £17 -£18 for it. - £5 per month membership fee with a 3 month minimum purchase required to join, then a couple of quid for the download)
Strangely, it was a while after that, that I bought my first Zoid, while Mum was looking for a gift for a friend's kid I wandered around the shop and found Shield Liger.

I never got very many models and then I only got my favorites. And now there in a box at home. I told my mom she can never sell them. But I saved everything, all the boxes and what not.

It's good you still have those ^^ I had to part ways with most of mine. I kept the really cool ones though, like the Vintage, Geno Breaker Jet's, and Liger Red's I cut the fronts off of a lot I threw away though. Keep meaning to put some on the wall.

They do look awesome on walls. Esp the kotobukiya ones. I really only keep the Tomy and vintage ones, though I still have some Hasbro ones I use for storage. I really like the NJR box fronts, and the Fuzors ones with the CG zoid and the pilot on one side are cool too.

Sadly, the only ones of NJR I have are my Shadow Fox and Command Wolf, otherwise, I really hate the boxes for the Hasbro ones, especially the new ones. I laughed when I saw the Gojulas Giga one, cause it has the giant Rawr on the front. I think that's the only I built one, took apart again and put away. All the rest of my models got displayed on one shelf of my desk for some time, until books took over. The only I left out were the Shadow Fox, Lightning Saix and Genobreaker, which are my favorites.
