I've never had Jam on my crumpets, but butter, nom!
The only problem is the butter sinks into the holes and comes out the bottom. Very messy XD
And Wiki, I know the quote you mean, but I'm damned if I can remember what ep that's from.

Ah so those are crumpets! Now I know why they're called Englishman muffins over here in the US, or at least that's what the one brand calls them ;D
... they are really good with some butter <3

They are nasty if they're not toasted though, they go all grainy. Englishman muffins? But an English muffin is this!

All I remember about the episode was that the cops were totally flawed and had grown a bush in front of a stop sign to pull people over for running it, then they broke his taillight. I think I remember Kitt roofwalking in that episode... They were trying to break the dude out of jail. It looks like an English muffin at first, but at the same time, it doesn't really. It looks less round, like in the picture provided by Pirate

Like a crunchy, holeless crumpet. And still tasty with jam <3 Changing the subject I'm going to tell you about an adventure I had yesterday at the Gates to Southwell Folk Festival. We went to the folk festival and there were lots of delicious food stalls, a fancy cake stall where I had a black forest cupcake and tons of music and fun stuff to do. As well as this, there were tons of Morris dancing troops We also went to see lots of bands and musicians. One man, Jed, who's name I can't remember to save my life, sang a song which was basically a Geordie version of Its a Wonderful Life called Its a Champion Life and also a song about what would happen if the Vikings came back today and lived in a man's shed. He was a funny bloke. Another couple of musicians we went to see were the Broughton brothers (Ben and Joe) who, among other things, sang Eric Clapton songs in Chipmunk voices. There was also plenty of stuff for kids to do and children's entertainers, who I cannot and will no put below the cut. I have videos of them too, but they're still uploading and I'm impatient so I'll have to post them in a bit! They were called Granny Turismo and went around on Segways done up to look like old lady's shopping trolleys, which blasted out music. This isn't one of my videos, but here's a taster! www.youtube.com/watch?v=PJunq_w3_DM

Two of them were men dressed up as grannies, one was actually a woman who's not normally with them, she pulls the best facial expressions ever though.

Random spam moment, though Pirate, I'm still waiting for your granny trolley videos! XD Plastic may take 1000 years to degrade, but maybe it isn't as detrimental to the environment as one would think! I had just taken a load of recycle to the centre when I came back and was driving on the grassy part to park my car when I saw a piece of plastic. Thinking it was a bottle that I dropped, I parked farther from the door than usual, but when I circled around, it was nothing more than old, weathered plastic from a wrapper. HOWEVER... I did notice our grass, though cut to 1.5-2 inches tall, was wiggling. I looked down to see a ground skink! They're a teensy little lizard that at the LONGEST (granted I haven't seen any this big) they're 5 inches long. On average, the ones I see are three to four inches long... They're hard to find and/or catch because they tend to bury under substrate (leaf litter, straw, grass, ANY sort of ground cover) and can move a foot without stirring a single straw. (I should know, I crouched over to watch where a ground skink disappeared in straw, only to see it pop it's head up a good distance away, and not a blade of straw twitched!) (Image from elsewhere on the net: ) Currently it is safe in a plastic critter cage in my room, happily hiding among the straw I placed in there... If I HADN'T stopped for that piece of plastic, I would've crushed the little guy without even knowing!

We get those little lizards a lot ;D I've seen some quite big ones too... when I was at my old house, they used to go up our hose XD. So we'd turn it on slowly to get them flushed out before using it.

That lizard is really adorable! ;D
Random news of the day from me is that the jury phase of the student show was just completed and both Hayate and Liger Inuzuka's Lightning Saix got accepted!
