Actually I couldn't get any of our original ideas to work, then Deathy mentioned purple, and I thought purple... Shadow Games.... then rolled with it.

Actually the effect was accidental. I painted the flamey shape in purple, then did undo too many times. I tried to undo what I had undone, forgetting that in photoshop, the undo button will only undo the last thing you did and pressing ctrl x again will redo it for you and pressed ctrl y instead.

I decided I like the effect, so I slapped a more bluey purple over the top to make it a bit more exciting and submitted it XD

Centered the mouth and moved it a bit higher, and removed the crease lines on his left arm.

I got the first three of the Millennium World Mangas for Christmas. Haven't had a chance to read them yet.

And thanks ^^ On that note I started looking back over my early photoshop work XD

These were all done within a month or two after I got Photoshop. I was also in a Kingdom Hearts fangirl mode at the time

My pet Shadow Heartless.

I was replaying the original Kingdom Hearts game again, and found myself back in good ole Wonderland. There, the Queen of Hearts ordered Sora to provide four pieces of evidence to prove that Alice was not responsible for... uh... whatever the heck it was she was being accused for (Ghost Liger has short term memory failure ^^

Anyway I was having a bit of trouble remembering where all the evidence was the last time I'd played the game, and it was annoying the heck outta me, so I said to ~Electricfox5 - who was sitting behind me at the time - that, with the mass of Heartless Sora had been fighting up til that point, he should just catch one and drag it back to the Queen!

Electricfox5 replied with something along the lines of "What's Sora gonna do? Put it on a lead??

Here's proof that it is possible to put a collar and lead on a heartless and take it home with you!

And who can forget a picture of Shadow and Perona that Shadow doesn't want people to see? XD

I still can't believe how young and N00bish I sounded back then too XD

My friend Riverfox on dA was interested in drawing Shadow's dragon form, but was holding off because I hadn't posted the remodeled version yet, so I got this finished for that purpose.

For the first time I actually have a solid ref of the scales running down Shadow's back XD
