Okay guys, its time for giant konig wolves Basically, the back story is, my mom's friend is a cnc machinist. And thus, we can machine really damn accurate parts. So... I am going to make a giant scale version of my favorite zoid! *drumroll* K-K-KONIG WOLF!!! So yeah. Who wants a 3 foot long konig? thats fully posable! And... as a nice change, THE HYDRAULICS ABOVE THE FEET WILL WORK! But... wall. The machine needs a 3D model in order to work. Drat. So I need to flex my 3D muscles and make a COMPLETE, PART BY PART 3D model of the Konig in 100% detail. Ugh. I've been at it for 2 days and only got a bit of the head ^^; Anyone else here know any 3D modelling at all? ^^; Here is what I have so far. Its just the nose part. Now, if you have a keen eye, you may have noticed that its only HALF of the nose. Thats because I can use the magical MIRROR tool! ^_^ So yeah... help, suggestions? ^^;

heh, thanks, I'm gonna need it XDDD
Should I do a bone stock Konig or should I do 'customizing' on it? ^^

I'd say start off by working on a regular Konig, and then worry about customising once that's done. I know from personal experience that if you think about making something "bigger" while you're working on the basics, it'll never get finished

Oh right! Then yeah, that'd be awesome!
If you made it all properly to scale, with all the pegs on the original model you could make giant CP units for it too XD

Since at this point in time all you have is the 3D render, this is best in the Fanart board. When you start on the actual building of the custom, then you can post photos in customs.

It's just a 3D rendering right now, Itty. Which does not make it a customized zoid, it just makes it a fanart. You remember when Deathy was making the 3D rendering of a command wolf? Was that under the customized kit or fanart? Since yours isn't a model yet, your art is no different.

Easy guys, I think he just put it in customs because he is going to use the 3D model to make a custom. I think it's a pretty easy mistake to make :3
Edit Learn to use tenses properly, you twit >_<

And thus I explained why I moved it.

And I clarified, using Deathy's rendering as an example. It's not a model yet, so it's not a custom yet.
