I think with me it's that I either get bored, or by the time my tablet's working again I've forgotten about the stuff I was working on before. I only really get things done on photoshop if I do it all in one long stint.
Why do they always look sad? Cecil (the guy) is a bit of a grump and Mariam... I think I just draw her OOC a lot, maybe she's a little bit baffled in that second picture, that and I'm not great at expressions.
Speaking of facial expressions, have any of you heard of Facial Expressions: A Visual Reference for Artists? If not try and get yourself a copy, it's a really useful book!

Thanks guys! She does have a tail, I just couldn't get it to look right. That's the problem with extra limbs or ... stuff. When I draw Akai, I usually omit his wings, or when I draw Odhran, I omit his hood because they're just such a pest to get right and seem to get in the way a lot. XD; |

Personally, I think it could work as either, but since the majority vote so far seems to be Digimon, I'll vote for that. The ears do remind me a little bit of Gazimon XD
