My favourite opening sequence pisstakers finally do Zoids AssaultCaution, it is derogatory. Don't watch if you love Zoids Assault or just don't want to see a Zoids game slandered. They do have a point though... that opening sucks O.O Seems even on the 360 they can't be assed to do proper animation. Listen out for Graham and Paul's pronunciation of Helic and Guylos XD

Yeah, that was pretty terrible XD Though they seem to always half-ass anime/show/movie based video games. They could make a really awesome one if they wanted to. It's what I'm hoping for in the new TF game coming out. It's not based on the movie so it might be good XD

I own the game, i hated the opening... it was sad, hell Gamecube did a better job with their games and yet that was how many years old?
asides from that though, the game was half decent though i wish there was more customization (but that is reserved for another Post)
Have to say, they are right though about one thing, "I'm looking at you two guys" and the fact that "I am clearly speaking loud enough for all outside to hear"
lol got to give it to them, they nailed the opening pretty well with it being backround info on top of background info

To be honest though... would you say Zoids Assault/Alternative is more fandom specialized? I mean, I only want to play it, because it's Zoids. If it was anything else like Tanks or Gundams, I wouldn't be interested |

It was really just Front mission without the massive gameplay... You cannot do anything asides from these three options.
1. move
2. shoot
3. (Special ablilities) pending on your traits for each zoid
your only allowed 5 zoids
2 Shield ligers (1 commander and 1 support)
2 Command Wolves (1 long range 1 medium combat)
1 D bison (FULLY STOCKED WITH... yup, 1 WHOPPING cannon!)
honestly they could have done better in the game allowing you to CHOOSE what you wanted to use, they did however allow you to swap out weapons and armor but the only thing that changed was the weapons appearance and thats it..
some fancy downloadable paint content but that only does small things (some do bonuses but they only help so little)
gameplay its fun for tacticians (so i enjoyed it) but for the regular zoid fan... it's really not much of a pleasing game... virtually no one from the series is in it so you do not really have anyone to connect with... and asides from the occasional Recognizable zoid on the field like a DeathSaurer
it could use some help... if only the real fans of zoids got to do the game instead of money grobbers T_T
back to your question, Yes i believe it is more fandom than anything else...

Rayse Tiger is powerful zoid in the V3 game and it is also the first you get for the story/mission part. I really like putting the Petra unit on it and have it flyyyyyy. |

Well, thats how the game was supposed to be.. hard as heck... hell the third mission was a pain alone even before they got reinforcements... and thats just about every mission the enemy getting reinforced every bloody time! |

IIRC, according to the booklet in mine, I'm supposed to be able to use it to play Pal games on NTSC, but this has been disputed on Phenos, and I haven't got an NTSC Gamecube to test it on. Funny... last I heard it was a breach of contract to sell freeloaders on eBay, or mention that a game you're selling needs one. |
