Yeah probably since model paint basically is nail polish XD Minus the cancerous materials.  (Grab a bottle of Testors and read the warning labels. lol) Hmmm I'd be interested seeing the red color Shadow, though I'm probably just going to use glossy Testors red. Which I still need to get for Saix. >.< |

Psh, everything is cancerous/poison these days.  Did I ever tell you guys about the conspiracy theorist that came in and gave us a lecture for having aspartame sweetened gum? Her: You know aspartame turns to poison when it hits body temperature... Me: Then why would the FDA approve it if it turns to poison? Her: It's in miniscule amounts. Me: But still poison, therefore FDA shouldn't have approved it. Her: You have to be a chemist to know this. Me: Oh! So you're a chemist? Her: WELL. If you want to poison yourself, FINE. Hell... Butter is bad for you, margerine is worse for you, sugar is evil, aspartame is poison, the pink stuff causes cancer, milk can't be broken down by the body, bottled water causes breast cancer, soda turns to poison when left in a hot car, anything stored in plastic means you're ingesting plastic...... (Mostly myths, if you haven't noticed, it shows how freaking paranoid people are.) Fuck this. Take into consideration that WORRY causes STRESS that KILLS. XD If you worry about what's going to kill you around the corner, then you'll end up killing yourself. XD I'd rather die young and live than exist longer and not live at all. |

Yeah I never cared for the same reasons as you Celtic. Besides it's fine if you have a well ventilated area you are working at. Nail polish is just as bad. Why do you think the people who work at nail salons always wear masks. I have a friend whose family owns a nail salon business so I always get tips from her.

My two tiny, tiny complaints: Red is not pure red, it's more orangey-red. Going to have to repaint. More painted parts! And on the red sprues none the less. x.x Luckily the paint is a dark brown, so an easy fix. That not too surprising red is a rather difficult color to be red. The red from HMM Saix is only one that was a nice rich shade of red for HMM line. I have to say the quality of colors are improving for HMM kits. |

Conspiracy theorists are fun for that exact reason. XD @wolf- Did not know that! But I guess it's all for the better, a painted, non-plasticy red will look good with the pearl! ;D The quality of colors has definitely improved, I did a quick look through the parts and it seems there is no more purple-grey that has been such a staple with the kits. The legs are a very nice light grey with an ever-so-slight hint of blue to them. |

The Great Saber and Saix's red seem quite close. Maybe it's just the lighter red they have problems with? But yeah the red for the Great Saber is amazing <3

@amethyst- Genius! XD @shadow- Oddly enough Mirage got the gold hydraulic pieces from the original kit. So everything BUT the hydraulics is a very nice rich gold. Another quick fix. @ghostie- If you're referring to the pictures on dA those fins were painted by the owner (unless there was a production mistake). All the fins are red on my model. |
