Just pre-ordered the Mirage and LZ, going to order the Saix on BBTS tomorrow. I need to stop. ^^;; The only thing saving me is you pay when they come in. XD
Love the box art. I can never say I've disliked a boxart (except for maybe Van's BL). Interested to see what variations they'll come up with. *crosses fingers for Irvine "prototype" Saix*
Deathy, Saix isn't *too* bad price-wise so saving up shouldn't be hard! ;D And besides I personally like getting them a little later so other people can discover the weak points and break their kits before I attempt. That sounds so cruel. XD

If I have to decide which box art I liked the least, I'd have to say the Shield Liger Desert type, because Kaida got lazy and just recoloured the box art he did for the Shield Liger. There was so much more potential for that box art. |

@shadow- So true, all my HMM's that I've built have at least one break somewhere. XD
@ghostie- you have a point with the recolor. Looking back Van's BL I guess the only issue I have is the head, it's a little too boxy for my liking, but to each his own!

Wow, these look amazing! Gotta love the HMM box art. But totally agree with the fact that Shield Liger Desert was a disappointment being just a recolor. I mean, each of the different command wolves had different box art as did the blade ligers and sabers and molgas. Poor Shield liger only got two, the standard/recolor desert and the Mk II...I kind of feel like desert got the short end.

Yeah the HMM desert Shieldy's box wasn't that great. I liked the style of the regular Blady's box art. Was Kozi Nakakita wasn't it? I love Mercy Rabbit, but I like a variety of different styles too. I liked how you could see more of the brush strokes in Kozi Nakakita's style. Was more impressionistic. Esp the art he did for Leon's Blady.

Both the Shieldies were done by Yuji Kaida, but the rest were done by Mercy Rabbit. I've always wondered why. |
