I adore Gamesworkshop, but yeah they are pricey. I once paid almost a fiver for on tub of Chaos Black once because I couldn't wait to go into town and didn't anticipate the VAT and high postal charges that come with ordering directly from Gamesworkshop's website. Guess you really need to buy a bundle if ordering from there. And lol, my favourite names are Red Gore, Lich Purple, and Vomit Brown XD Geez, there paint isn't that good to be charging that amount. But since they cater to a very specific crowd I guess they can get away with it. I tried to get into Warhammer but the prices of their silly figures is painful ($30 dollars for a basic infantry unit!) and since you need an army to play... ;-; Some more color fun... Graveyard Earth, Snakebite Leather, and bubonic brown. Seems the brown colors have the most morbid names. XD

Must be that brand then D: Think it's called Mr Hobby Colour o,o Someone else told me that brand had a strong smell. The Testors acrylic smells, but you have to have your nose right against it or using a lot of it to smell it. @ kitsunefyn: I never got into Warhammer either even though a few friends of mine really like it. Like you said the prices are outrageous and I just find boring as all hell XD

@shadow- Yea I'm not into strategy type games too much, but it seemed interesting at the time and I'd still be willing to at least give it a try if most people didn't turn it into a 'he who has the most money wins' type of game all the time.
Personally I'm tempted to buy just the kits I like and paint them since some of the design are pretty kick arse.

so i spotted this thread and figured i should chip in some.
Americana Gloss Enamel:
pros: this stuff is amazing! goes on smooth, needs no thinning, not too glossy, looks just like metal.
cons: don't expect to paint over it with anything other than maybe another enamel. it falls right off and won't even go on right to begin with. it's like painting something covered in no-stick.
Folk Art Acrylic:
pros: great stuff. goes on smooth, nice matte finish. pure colors.
cons: peels off if something sharp scratches it, but only if the layer is too thick.
Folk Art Neon Acrylic:
pros: none.
cons: it's thin as water and won't stay on anything. it quickly goes from the neon color it's described as to a way darker color. it pools up quickly and nothing will fix it.
DECO ART Glow in the Dark Medium:
pros: it glows. 'nuff said.
cons: it takes a while under most circumstances to charge up enough to glow with much luminescence. a little runny, but not too bad.

cons: it takes a while under most circumstances to charge up enough to glow with much luminescence. The Dark Zoids have this problem. A good blacklight will give it a nice charge.
