Okay, so with Shamrock (Panzer), Black Phantom (Schnieder) and Palkia (basic), the white part on the chassis was flat white, bland and easy to sharpie. However, somehow I managed to get a different chassis... It's pearlized versus the flat of the other LZ chassis I have... Here are some comparison pictures... Checked my standard Hasbro Liger Zero and it's the flat type.
Perhaps it was a first run LZ? Maybe they realized the pearl was too expensive and down graded to the flat white?

Jager, Panzer and Schneider are all flat.
I've yet to check my standard NJR or my Fuzors LZ Phoenix.

@ Celtic- do you know the possible origin of your pearly liger?
The rate this is going it seems this discussion may need to be moved to a larger zoids forum like ZP... Larger sample size needed! XD
It seems like you have a pretty unique liger on your hands Celtic! ;D

Celtic Zoid, your Liger Zero parts are from the Hasbro Liger Zero Schnieder kit.
The white Liger Zero parts in that kit is a slightly ( I do mean slightly since you have to have two different Liger Zeros side by side to see the different) different color from the standard kit. The white armors is more pearl beige than white. The Schneider armor strangely enough is no different from Japanese version.
I have this Liger Zero and he does have the sparkling white paint on his chassis.
So you do have a special Liger Zero.
I am beat, so I don't know when I be able to take pics of mine. I will try to squeeze him in when the next I do a photo shoot of HMM zoids. (noted to self)

As promised here is pics of mine (his name is Creme): Here Creme's body with sparkling paint  Head shot of regular Liger Zero  Head shot of Creme  Trio of Liger Zeros!  Creme is in the middle, regular Liger Zero is on the right and Fuzor Zero is on the left. Note that Fuzor Zero is has darker claws and unpainted head. The Fuzor Zero has glossy white paint on his chassis instead of flat/matte paint. Yes, they are dusty.  I had dusted them before I took pictures, I can't win against the dust. |

Awesome! Thanks for the pictures, WT! It's so neat seeing them all lined up like that! I bet I have some armour pieces somewhere, I found a cap for the tail thing but haven't really spotted any other white parts that glimmer/are cream. Name is very fitting, BTW. X3 They didn't look too incredibly dusty to me. Mine got dustier than that. XD |

O.O I never noticed Fuzor's Zero had darker claws. I really should get mine back out...
I always found it weird that RD's Liger never had the black head. Keeps it looking different I suppose XD

Ah now I know how I got a hold of those pearly pieces! Ryu gave me her extra zero armor pieces that came from her LZ Schneider. I always wondered why Hasbro only released Schneider and didn't bother with Jager or Panzer.
