You just made me want to buy those HG/SS card sets and the Diamond set (they have a giant card in it I think). XD Hehe I just got back into collecting. Mostly to blame because of the HG/SS sets! XD The art on those cards is exceptional especially the Legend cards. @ghostie- Nice collection! I see some nice cards in there, like that Charizard!  Are you going to start collecting again? @celtic- Was going through my cards and found some pretty recent YGO promos from the SJ magazines, would you be interested? |

@ghostie- Nice collection! I see some nice cards in there, like that Charizard! Are you going to start collecting again? That Charizard was one of the biggest shocks I've ever received. Like every other Pokemon crazed kid, I desperately wanted a Charizard, but sadly, not having that kinda cash of my own, my Mum refused to pay out that much for a simple shiney card. At that time the Base, Jungle and Fossil sets had become old news and were going cheap at about a pound each or so, so because they couldn't get me the Charizard, my Aunt and Grandma bought me 3 packs of Base and 3 packs of Jungle for Christmas. And there, nestled snugly in one of the Base packs was that holofoil Charizard I'd been so desperately wishing for. So it means a lot to me ^^ I'd like to, but Pokemon cards are sorta thin on the ground around here now. Though having said that I just bought 2 booster packs (EX Legend Maker and EX Unseen Forces) from eBay. |

Nice! That's awesome you actually pulled one and in such an ironic situation too! I finally got my Charizard a few months ago when a friend heard I was getting back into collecting and gave me all his cards. In one of the stacks was a Charizard! ;D
OOOooooo Unseen Forces is pretty rare here in the US. That's a shame they're so scarce though I suppose it's kind of a good thing. Since they're so readily available here I'm tempted every time I go into a store to get some whether I can afford it or not. o.o;; Guess I should be thankful zoids aren't like that. XD

Went Pokemon Cards hunting today.
As far as I know, Target got the D&P 3 Legendary Pokemon pack set (I got Dialga, I like him). And some of those tins. Yet to find any boosters.
Other stores I visited don't have them ;-; So it seems it's thinning out a lot more than I have thought.... even the supermarket who I swore carried Pokemon cards, don't have them.
I'm poking Toys'r'us/Uncle Petes soon when I get to it. Yet to try Kmart.
I so wish I hadn't accidentially threw away a lot of my pokemon cards.... my friend gave his duplicates to me....
but thanks to Ghostie, I bought the Dialga pack. And out one of the boosters.... I got Houndour!! ;D Whee. Now I need to hunt down a Houndoom.... and Charizard! I want Charizard ._.

Since I don't want to quote the wall of text... *Shakes a fist* Quote it!! Oh nice! Bet that was a lovely surprise ^^ Apparently it's out of print now. Gees... So many card lines... I get nostalgic remembering when the Base set came out. I only got into collecting these card types because I bought the wrong packet at the Newsagents. I intended to get the other types, y'know, the ones with a big picture of the Pokemon on the front and the data on the back? Didn't realise there were battle cards at the time ^^; @deathy: I did wonder if they might be. Sadly Pokemon isn't anywhere near as popular as it used to be outside of Japan Ouch! But you saying that, I almost sold my lot on eBay. Glad I didn't now. |

Speciality card shops still sell them... you just gotta know where to look. But I really don't want to make a trip to Sydney.... I'd rather ebay and poke the Toys'r'us, they do sometimes hold onto them (I know America's TRU got some). And hope Target also got boosters. And poke Kmart too....
I now bought three Undaunted booster cards :B

Ya. I know of some shops that would sell them, but like you with Sydney, it's a long trip into Yarmouth or London.
Maybe I should open this thread up for everyone to post their collections?

I collect Magic the Gathering, have been a looonnng time. Most of my cards are in binders and sadly I don't play as much, no time to build decks.

Aw  Mind you, the only time I've ever played the Pokemon card game was on the Gameboy, and the only time I played Yugioh was Forbidden Memories on the PS1, which plays by it's own rules. |

I got some more cards yesterday. Bought two Arceus boosters on clearance, one had Ponyta and the other had Rapidash XD way to go
And bought this pack which is apparently a trainer deck, they have predetermined order of cards to play by, and you get a buddy to play the other deck, and basically you learn about playing the game. But hey, I only bought it to get the Raichu and Gyarados cards (holos :3) and figured there'd be a Magikarp and Pikachu in there too XD
Totally going back to get the arceus starters that are on special.... maybe. If my car won't die again XD
