Oh don't... you're getting me all nostalgic for when my local Toymaster (Now taken over by the Entertainer) had a whole unit dedicated to Zoids, with really cool promo banners, and when Hamley's had a built kit display!

Sorry, couldn't help it, maybe something will happen whenever Viz gets around to running Genesis? Highly doubtful, you think kids would like toys they actually have to build, to play with. sold me... Stupid American kids, don't they know what's good for them.

Heldigunner's cool, but I'm going to replace the rubber pipes on mine as soon as I can find the appropriate materials. Damn things have perished too many times... lost count of the times I've had to purchase another Heldigunner to replace the pipes... Same thing with the Konigs but they're easier to fix... Speaking of which, watch out for that on yours Starlithalo! If you plan to just leave it on display on the shelf the leg bands will perish and break.

I replaced them with a bracelet band, but left some of the original on it on the head dangling down. Just fitted in with the look XD

How exactly do I prevent that from happening Ghostie? I know that I'm going to fall in love with that model and I don't want it to break especially if it's just going to sit up on a shelf I would suggest walking it everyday. Make sure when you put it back and that you leave it with the opposite leg forward i.e. If you start off with it's left front leg forward, then turn it off with it's right front leg forward. Additionally if a Konig's belt breaks, it's not as big a deal as with Hel Digunner. And this is perfect timing, cuz I've just noticed my Konig HA has this problem right now: If you just remove the broken belt, all you need is to stick a tiny little bit of superglue on the edge of one of the broken parts (The rubber bonds really well) and some patience to press it back together in the right place so that the join is unnoticable and you're sorted: You may need to do this every so often. And inevitably, if you discover a breakage between the legs on one side, check the belt on the other side by the neck, 9 times out of 10 this'll have broken too. You could just take the belts off, but that depends on whether you'd be happy doing that. And I wouldn't blame you for falling in love with your Konig! Konig is teh win!
