Oh this is looking really good so far! I agree with making the light blue a lot darker. I suggest Photoshop and I've made some coloring tutorials that I've posted on here that may help.

Looking good ^^
However in regards to the Gilvy's colour scheme, the Canopy and buzzsaws need to be more red, the gold parts need to be the same colour as the horns, except for the caps, which should be black and the grey could be a bit darker.
