Yep, still working on this guy XD Finally to the point of making all the armor bits and I've finished the one side. Before it was really just a skeleton, now I've added all the armor, the dragon esq looking scales I wanted for the neck and back, all the booster parts in the legs and back, finished customizing the nose so it's just not a Unelagia(sp?) head with some spikes, and also modded the fingers to look like claws. I still need to work some on the torso and tail. Been thinking about ways on how to describe the leg designs. I understand the purpose and reasoning behind them just from playing the games, but since none of you ever played it, it's probably stupid looking. I think the best way I can describe it is they aren't legs. Instead, they are thrusters used to change directions extremely quick and work coincide with the back boosters to give that huge agility advantage. So like how rudders are used to change directions, they just move the legs to change direction. I tried ; ;

Explanation or not, I'm still not liking the "feet" however the rest is pretty damn cool, particularly the tail ^^

XD It deals a lot with aerodynamics and cutting wind resistance too. I don't care if you like them or not, I just want to show that there is a reason for its design.

yer yer, but still doesn't make much sense when it's supposed to stand, ye know. I was just saying I couldn't appreciate it because I haven't seen the show. It's your custom, therefor your business. Don't need to tell me to shove off over my opinion...

Oh! In the game at least, when you needed to land, you would just kneel down. Then when you're not using the mech, say when you would be at a base or something, the mech would be docked with bars holding it up.
I'm not quite sure I know what you mean there. There's no where saying "Stop saying you hate it". It's simply describing the functionality to understand the purpose behind the design. It has nothing to do with liking it or not.

Sorry, I read "I don't care whether you like it or not" as a snap, hence my desire to backfire your opinion comment back at you. And my opinion is that the feet look completely ridiculous. XD It looks like I could blow on it and it would fall over. XD Though if it's meant for flying, maybe if I do that, it'll take to the air?

Oh no no no. Never do I snap. Like the opinion comment, I seriously wasn't yelling or attacking you. I would never ever do that. I always try to calmly explain, but my writing abilities always seem to fail. YES! It's purely an air combat only mech. They fly and hover. ... and I just now thought of posting a gameplay vid from youtube *facepalms* But yeah, you can see how they just fly around, or when they do stand, the boosters keep it balanced. OMG that would be like the most ridiculous thing ever to see them walking on those legs XD
*After how long of searching vids*
