So I started doing my first ever bit of panel lining today on my Leogator. I'm using a super-fine paint brush and watered down black acrylic. But I'm curious, what techniques do you guys use when panel lining?

I don't panel line myself, but I'm interested to see how your Leogator looks ^^

I use the same method as Vig. I once did use superfine brush and black/dark grey but it takes a painfully long time and cramped fingers by the time I'm done.

What panel lining I've done is with a fine-point sharpie pen. XD

I always just used thinned down acrylic and a paintbrush for mine. I don't "panel line" anymore, but the same technique applies to the little pieces and grooves.

What about an inkwash? Anyone know how that's done?

I've been meaning to try inkwashing. I could probably find a tutorial on one of the Gundam blogs I usually visit. I just remembered another good panel lining tip from one of them now though XD For panel lining on white, use a brown or dark brown color instead of black. That way you get the same effect, but looks more realistic and not so bold that it takes over.
