I decided to try out some combination of colors and it result into this: Before anyone gets too excited, I just change the color of the chrome parts. I use nail polish remover to remove the gold, then I use transparent blue paint. Another use for transparent paints. Another thing, about Rebirth King Liger, they glued the body halves together! I used a lot of masking tape, a least the motor still works after I painted it. I have been thinking about calling him King Liger Lunar Strike or King Liger LS.

Nice! That's a pretty sweet way to custom a Zoid without loosing the chrome. I got a sun damaged Z2 Spinefin I should try that on should I ever find that last tail piece.

Thanks!
This custom was test for me to see if transparent paints and chrome will work. The chrome was kind of difficult to paint. Too little paint splatters and too much paint actually dulls the chrome, at least for spray paints. I used acrylic transparent paint to touch up by hand that works out pretty well.
@ Ghostliger: Spinefin has a lot chrome parts right? That should be dazzling sight, no matter what the colors are.

I used acrylic transparent paint to touch up by hand that works out pretty well. I'd have to do the whole thing by hand anyway @ Ghostliger: Spinefin has a lot chrome parts right? That should be dazzling sight, no matter what the colors are. Indeed. Part of me wants to get a second Dimetrodon, paint the Spinefin's chrome red and have a Z2 Dimetrodon XD As you can see, this guy's gone a bit... gold XD

... O____O Whoa those colors look amazing on the King! I've been debating for the longest time on how to paint mine and whether I want to make it poseable or not.
