It would seem that rumour about TOMY UK releasing Geno Breaker, Geno Saurer, Death Saurer and Gordos into the UK this month is true. At least, that's what I got from one of the staff members at Forbidden Planet. I shall keep my eyes open on the Toy Stores, and if I find them at a store I can get to easily, and enough people are game, I might just open an MO  |

However we get a mix of TOMY and Hasbro because we get some cast-offs every now and then. Heh heh  |

Awesome, this is great! I heard somewhere that Hasbro's license or what ever you call it for zoids expired, maybe a year ago? Which led many to believe we would not have another zoids release here in America. Them lapsing on the copyright/ ownership deals could now open up a way for TOMY UK to get them ova the pond! Also Viz Media gained the rights to Zoids genesis a while back, supposedly there translating and dubbing for an American release, maybe that will bring the zoids back too! Maybe this is the big MO break we've been waiting for. Shipping from the UK is cheaper than from Asia right? No pressure from all of us Ghostie, right? xP |

GEB? Sorry me and chatspeak don't mix very well. xD I would think it's a good thing Hasbro let its license run out, that means TOMY can sell its zoids here. When Zoids Genesis hits Toonami Jetstream/ CN, TOMY can jump in with the toy line. Then Genesis Ligers all around. *instead of toasting with a beer glass, toasts with a genesis liger she doesn't have* I'll probably take part in the MO if Ghostie can get us zoids. Genos for me (I don't have either. ) and maybe a deathsaurer, but I'll have to think that through since I know shippings going to be a beast. By the way do we know if any others are getting re-released? All I've heard of are those 4 and maybe Deathstinger (in Japan). |

Geb in caps. XD I use it as a substitute when I get really excited. (Geb = Egyptian diety of the fertile earth.) I think it's GLORIOUS that Hasbro let the copyright expire! For some reason the thought of Hasbro having Zoids copyright (especially that Tomy DOES exist here) just makes me so mad! I honestly don't have the foggiest idea why.  It just does. |

The shipping for Deathy might be a bit of the steep side, since his box is huge.
As far as I know only the four dinos are set for re-release... TOMY UK testing the market mebbe?
It's good to hear UKs getting the dinos, but I wish they had chosen a different couple of Zoids other than Geno Saurer and Gordos... those two saw a release in the NER already.
Tonnes of Zoids have been re-released in Japan already, and I'm not just talking about the Graphics and Rebirth Century lines. I do believe the Genos, Deathy and some others got a re-release in a line that got affectionately dubbed the NNJR line. They were identical to the NJR except that NNJR Geno Breaker didn't come with a Shadow figure

I hope these come with Shadow since I don't have a one yet. Maybe Saurer will. *Crosses fingers*
I didn't know TOMY was over here in the states, then it really doesn't make sense why Hasbro had the rights.
Testing the market? To me it wouldn't make sense, they would need some way of bringing in the new customers to buy the kits. But hey if they're going to release zoids, I do not question the higher authority.

Did I mention the creepy babies? That's how I realized Tomy was here... I saw a commercial for like, little (read: maybe three inches long?) babydolls that wiggle and squirm and coo... Man, they CREEP ME OUT.  I was mad then. Hasbro, known for kids toys, stole zoids. Tomy, known for zoids, makes babydolls. THAT ISN'T RIGHT, YO. or maybe I'm crazy. I'm definitely crazy, that's probably part of it. |

No you're not crazy, or maybe I'm crazy too... oh sh1t. Never liked dolls, always used to pull the heads off of my Barbies. xD I was a demented little child. But the animals that came with them were cool. *only played with the walking horse and whale that came with scuba barbie* TOMY and Hasbro make no sense now... I don't get the world of business. But as long as it produces zoids, I do not complain. With these guys and Sabre Tiger SS I'm going to be broke before Christmas and I haven't even done my holiday shopping yet!  |
