The ULTIMATE test to a zoids strength! Have you ever dropped a zoid? Did it surprise you with what damage it did - or did not - take? Tell us about it! Part of the reason I don't mind having so many command wolves, is because my first was sitting on a precarious perch, got knocked over, and seemed to break to a million peices. I took it to my room and was surprised to find that the head fell apart in a Zabimaru-like way to avoid real damage. For the wolf to fall at least four feet and only take a small crack to the shoulder armour (which ultimately broke off when I had to move) surprised me, especially when I recall the innitial carnage. And I literally JUST knocked Joule - my Energy Liger - off a chair. He flipped over onto his head, and I was certain something broke. It wasn't as an impressive drop as Knight Lupus, but I expected the highly detailed model to sustain SOME sort of damage, simply because it was so heavy. However, the horn fell out of the socket (I swear I have zabimaru zoids), and one leg fell out of place. Only the gold crest was damaged, and only by a slight stress-crick. Suprisingly, to me, Joule sustained no damage, despite being a heavy, and intricate model! Though my complaints with my precious wolves, Knight Lupus' back-mount snapped only a few weeks of use. However, I would've had to send the entire model to Hasbro for them to ship an entire new model. I'm a sentimental freak, and wanted to KEEP my first ever zoid, not trade him in because of a broken nob. So I fixed it myself, before my age of superglue. I went through my box of nuts, bolts, screws and nails found alongside the road, and found a pristine screw. You can see it, *points* and it works pretty well. ^^

Gul Tiger, Murasame Liger, Geno Breaker and HMM Geno Saurer have all surprised me with how well they survive a drop! I did have a photo of Murasame after it fell off the table and shattered, but the computer wipe deleted it.
Energy Liger didn't survive so well though TT_TT
(BTW, I moved this to Zoids discussion since it's not really a Zoids review)

Heh, wish I could say the same about my Konig and Rayse Tiger. About a year after I got him, my dad accidentally knocked it of my desk and it crashed onto the hard floor and broke some of the armor off and the left fore leg elbow joint broke @_@
Rayse Tiger's accident happened here. He was sitting on top of my dresser, which is about 4 and a half feet tall, and Jordan accidentally knocked it off and Aang met the concrete floor. I'll just say it was the equivalent of the flower pot crashing into the planet in Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy... took forever to find all the pieces.

Dropped my Gun Sniper... took me forever to find his little ear things. Oh and did you guys ever see the movies on Youtube about dropping a gravity zoid, it's kind of funny... *goes to find them* www.youtube.com/watch?v=HCn1SIsBFfgThat's the first part, but basically it's a series of videos beating the crap out of a gravity zoid. As you come to find out, not very durable. My Liger Zero fell and only shed its parts thank god.

The Gravities are Hasbro only, somehow I'm not surprised that they'd fail. XD I like my wolf, though. X3 Motorbike ftw!
*edit* Well, from my understanding Ptera was the cruddiest of the Gravities, so of COURSE it fails! XDD LOL at the rock. XD
Poor Ptera. Unloved. That's as far as my sympathies go for that one, I'm afraid.

My Zabat dropped when I accidentially knocked 'im off. He survived ;D Energy Liger decided to do a cordless bungee jump. He survived fully intact (gotta love Japanese quality!). Dropped Cannoneer Gordos, he survived. Lol, I have a lot of strong models ;D hehe

Oh wow, XD You have very strong models! My zabat doesn't seem that strong, and since ZFT gave it to me, I have it in the back of the shelf so it won't get knocked off, because I value ZFT-zoids. She warned me that her zabat would let go of it's perch and drop on it's head, so I was afraid it would do the same. XD; Man, Energies are tougher than I thought. *really expected Joule to hurt something* Oh yea, Munchausen Fury likes to pop to pieces, but he'll usually do that unprovoked.. His backpack survived a three foot fall when he felt like ejecting it. XD;

NECRO THREEEEAAAD!!! *uses black magic to resurrect it*
Anyway, the chameleon took a dive and fell to pieces. I've yet to see if he's broken or pulled a Zabimaru...
Raven pulled a Zabimaru... Fell from the box, he did, when I was bringing stuff up to my room. The PileBunker and countersize fell off but no real damage... Which is a bit surprising as Greyscale (my first revvie) lost the tip of his countersize from being in a purse. I was sure the fall would've nicked Raven's countersize but it didn't!
(countersize = BL name for the scythes. I prefer it because someone who used to stalk me loved scythes so I hate that word now.)
