After a check out on ZP, there is news of a Dark Hellrunner/Merda being released! ;D I don't know if all of you know that yet but I decided to stick it up here anyway  Here's the pic! www.toyhobby.jp/html/pickup/081102/index.htmlMissile pods and guns on his back :B He looks cute, I might get him... maybe... Apparently, it might be a LTD >> No price known yet. If you're a ZP-er, they might have a MO for it ;D So, any opinions, discussion, etc about this little critter? XD  EDIT:: Oh! And upon further reading (I have already guessed this but further reading confirmed my guess), it is Battery operated! Price may be roughly 30-40USD :S |

It apparently will use the same or similar motor to Tiga Godos and Barigator TS...that is, windup size, but powered by button cells. Not sure if it's limited (brain too tired for grok Japanese) so much as exclusive, and thus a pain to order D:.
I wish they'd sell the motors separately! I have some old windups that would make very, very happy.

Cute! I'm still waiting on a dark Helcat, but if I can get this I'm definitely considering it! Cannot...take name...Merda...seriously.... Ya, I'm with ya on that one. I still have to call it Hellrunner |

Where did the name Merda come from?
Might get one of these critters, it is kind of cute, just got to see what the final price is going to be. Hopefully it's not a limited, that would drive up the price a lot.>.>

*calls it a Hellrunner too.* Where did the name Merda come from? Merda is the original Japanese name. Hellrunner is the European one. Dunno why Tomy decided to rename the Zoids for the OER and Zoids2 line :S |

I doubt poor Merda would sell well in Italy otherwise...or France, given the overlap with merde. Gordos is rather close to gordo, Salamander may just have been too ordinary a name to trademark. Zoidzilla was probably a translation of the Godzilla pun in Gojulas. Other than that...Iiii don't know. |
