Finally got to work on my HMM Saber Tiger. Spray painted all the gun's parts yesterday and then detail painted today. All I have is the gun done so far, but it's sexy! lol Instead of painting it according to the guide, I just make my own color scheme up. Decided to use only red, black, gray, and gold for the overall color scheme. I didn't really like the brown they used and the lavender color. Overall, about 8-9 hours of work in it. |

Ooh, that's looking pretty. Is that all hand detailing over spray? Yep. I only spray painted the basic colors, then painted all the details by hand. A lot of dry brushing was involved too ;3 UPDATE:Just got done spray painting all of the parts with each of them being in respectable body bags to avoid confusion. Now I just have to detail paint all of them! Overall project time now: 10-11 hours UPDATE:Body and head is completely done now. Totally loving the gray instead of the brown color. Camera totally didn't catch the amount of detail in this guy -_-b  Overal project time now: about 15-16 hours |

Fantastic job on the weathering, the wear and tear adds a nice layer of realism on the model ;D

I love weathering cuz it's a lot of fun to do and like you said it makes them look more realistic. UPDATE:Just got the fore legs done. The left leg is my favorite part of the whole model now because I love the carnage on it. The camera didn't pick it up, but there's silver paint where the cuts are and it makes it look like steel. Overall project time now: 20-21 hours UPDATE:Finally finished!!!! He doesn't look like a plastic model anymore!!! I'll take some out door pics tomorrow =D Overall project time: 23-24 hours |

Never had a problem with it. @ Deathy and Celtic: Thanx ^^ He's totally worth buying Deathy, he just needs glue and detail painting. Even if you just spray paint it, it'll look a lot better than the toy colors. |
