Been working on Shadow for the most part of the day and last night (actually stayed up til 5 in the morning working on him XD;) Managed to get one of the back legs done ;3 Got a shiny blue spray paint for some of the blue bits like the spring and air vent cover thing. For the really little blue pieces I have a acrylic paint that looks pretty much exactly the same as the spray paint.

It's highly reflective and actually has a glowing effect. Even shines in low light :3

Didn't need a clear coat. The paint is called Dazzling metallics Elegant Finish and the color is called Ice Blue. I bought it at Michael's craft/art store.

I wonder what it would look like with a clear coat...

It doesn't need clear coat. It's already within the paint.

oh! okay, that makes sense... you used flexible paint on the caps, right? HMM caps are solid plastic. They're not rubber like the regular models.

Amazing detail! Can't wait to see the rest! ;D
@itman- HMMs are definitely worth the price (in most cases) they're so much fun to build and their designs are just top-notch. I'm excited to see what's further on down the road. Oh what I would do to get into the R&D department at Kotobukiya! XD
