Hey! This is my thread for my first ever custom! I just got a new dremel today, and I'm pretty damn good already XD So far, all I have is the boosters modded, but hey, its progress ^^; 10/24/09 (Boosters)

Dremels aren't too difficult to use XD
Anyway, looking good so far. I like how the new flaps look like they're really a part of the existing booster pieces.

thanks! I worked hard on that! XD I like the slotted holes.
and whats annoying is the joints that hold those flaps on. They are like 3mmx3mm so they are VERY hard to hold while dremeling XD
and man I love crazy glue

Oh yeah, sometimes it's better to hold small parts with needle nose pliers while you dremel them

Is there a way you could get a better pic of the joint? Cuz it seems like your camera focused on your keyboard instead of the zoid ^^;

UPDATE! ^^ 10/26/09 (Fan cover and new booster hinges) I made the new cover rather simply ^^ and I used those round pegs to make new hinges, who would've knew that they fit nice and snug? XD Also, the new fan cover gets in the way of the Konigs silver leg frame things that attach to its neck, so I want your opinions. Saw the sides of the fan cover off so they can fit, or cut/don't use them at all... I can't decide >> New Hinge: Fan Cover: Fan Cover 2: Overall:

The name reminds of a Mortal Kombat character.
"Night Wolf Wins! Flawless Victory..."

XD good point
And I have a question... how DO you make the Konig posable? I don't know exactly WHERE the ball joints go ^^;

I say just sand off the sides and to make a konig's legs poseable is easy, but I haven't done the neck yet. All you need to do is stick the ball joints where the regular joints are, except the elbow joints.

I JUST figured out elbow joints, I am cutting apart a lego rubber tank track and super gluing a piece into the outer part of the elbow drum, and that presses between the two joint drums and gives them friction ^^
EDIT: actually, that does not work. What DOES work, however, is gluing the gear cap to the outer part, and when the inner shaft goes into it, it holds it in place but allows it to bend! and its still removable! ^^
