Hayate's too fragile to take home with me :< O.O So what will you do when you leave? I'll just carry him on my lap or give him his own little box to be in. Although I did get new glue that's more of a rubber so the boosters are more stable. I have trouble super gluing the Academy and HMM plastic.

lol I'll definitely find a way when I leave, but I'm not going to risk him breaking when I'm just going to be home for a few weeks. I usually just bring some zoids I want to customize when I'm home for breaks :3

I have trouble super gluing the Academy and HMM plastic. Just a small bit of offtopicness: Wait, is there a difference between Academy Zoids and Tomy Zoids? I always thought Academy just distributed the kits in Korea (like Hasbro does for US and UK) and apart from the text on the packaging and manual the actual kit is literally the same as the Japanese version. Am I wrong? Should I stop getting Academy Zoids? Are they bad? Oh no, my incoming Blade Liger is Academy!!!

I think any issue would just be batch ones, in my general experience there can be a bad batch from any area's Zoids. The black plastic varies wildly on my Zeros, and they're mostly Hasbro...and one of my most flaky ones was Tomy :p.

It's probably a batch thing like Tilly said. My Hayate's an Academy and it just seems like it was softer plastic. Like my armor doesn't like to go together. HMMs seem to use a soft plastic too, probably to cut costs, and it breaks easily and glue doesn't seem to want to stick :<

Aha, we'll see then how my Blade Liger behaves. The only Academy Zoid I have so far is the Command Wolf AC. Don't notice anything weird with him... Other than that they spraypainted the sprues metallic blue, which I thought was kinda weird. I'd expected the plastic itself to be metallic.
Oh wait, I'm going off topic even more. I'll shut up now. ;D

Yeah, the AC is weird that way o_O. The metal flake blue is really pretty, but it's really paint-tastic.
(edit) And my Tomy Hayate likes to fall apart and it's got some soft bits. That might just be the design itself!

My Myrrdin is an Acadamy Genesis Brastle Tiger. The only difference I think with him, is the box he came in was purple.
