Today I got the Academy Blade Liger in! It's a cool kit, and even has some metal parts (claws, teeth)... But the whole thing feels kinda fragile... But I suppose that's just the design. Points of worry: He has a crooked jaw when in opened position (the mechanism seems missaligned, so I'll have to look into that) and he has a strong tendency to turn to the left.
Is this so with all Blade's?
Oh, and Van and Fiona really gets shaken around in that cockpit! What, no seatbelts!? Gonna have to use some Blu Tack to stick them in their seat I think... ;D

I think only the Hasbro Bladys and the Night Fight are the only ones without metal claws and teeth. I can't remember if Mirage does or not :/
I have a Tomy Black Impact Blady and it's pretty sturdy with a non crooked jaw. Though all the ligers seem to have a gimp walk, walking in a almost circle XD;

My Bladey seems fine. It's RBL from TOMY iirc. Tho his main head seems to hang to one side a little crookedly.

Yep, that's what I mean with the head. I did some looking on the internet, and it seems like this is pretty normal for the Ligers. Good to hear the circle-walking is also part of the design. I won't have to tear him apart again then. I think the fragile feel comes from him being pretty heavy with the metal claws and all the sticky-out movable parts. The main body (apart from the head) is pretty sturdy, yeah.

Odd, my RBL seems to like walking in an almost-straight line o.O;;

I'm also still waiting confirmation on whether or not what I heard about the Hasbro yellow Zaber Fang being accidentally released with the NERs, in the red Hasbro box with a Tomy sticker is true.
