Ok, having officially sat down and watched nearly 2/3rd's of Genesis i can distinctively say that the animation of Genesis is far superior to that of Chaos Century, Story wise also it is vary well developed and as for voice acting... slight high pitched whining but not as much as Raven or Van (or even Bit cloud as a mater of fact lol) Animation for the zoids is good, though i'm curious as to why they completely overhauled the zoids interior to several designs and also why some of the exteriors of certain zoids (IE the Molgas and Elephanders, and some others) Anyways, i need to thank ShadowBlade for showing me genesis in the first place  (wouldn't have seen it, though i may look into fuzors if i don't tear my eyes out from seeing zoids FUZE in very odd ways... and i mean VERY odd ways lol ) |

Ugh, I can't get past the zoid animation in Fuzor, or the voices, or the fact that RD is Harry Champ and Champ's voice does not suit the main protagonist one bit, no sir-ee. I've gotten to about episode 5 in Genesis, its alright, I though I do agree that all the zoids series seem to have the same plot line: underage zoid pilots, making friends, here comes a bad guy, he's going to end the world, save the world, repeat.
Also, Ghost, did I ever tell you how well you draw hands?

If it wasn't, then the Japanese have been real lax on upgrading their tech. Were you comparing the Genesis VAs to the English dub of CC or the Japanese one? If it was the English one, I find it really hard to make a comparison between two different languages As for the overhaul, this is to be expected. As time goes on designs change. More can be done as technology gets better etc etc. I love the new "motorbike" style cockpit designs. They look a lot more comfortable than the chairs, since you're going to lean forward anyway in the heat of battle. I found Fuzors tolerable, and I actually don't mind Brad Swaile voicing RD, but yeah. It's like they wanted to emulate Power Rangers, and the animation team went on strike! |

GO MEGAZORD!!!! *fancy pose* remembrance of Power rangers aside  i was talking about the VA of the japanese, but english yeah... things are different cockpit wise, yeah the bike was something but i was accustomed to seeing cockpit styles from the CC and the other series involving Seats and strained backs lol, the cycle style was unique ill give you that but it would possibly do more damage to your back being in that position for a long time (since the battles tend to last a whole episode lol) than sitting straight up and screaming YEAAAAAAAA as you push the shield button and out pops a cupcake and tea lol good music choices as well for the series |
