Since I have not so many Zoids to show, I thought it'd be cool to post some stuff I've done on other modelkits. This here is a 1/72 version of the Gunship from the animé Nausicäa of the Valley of the Wind. My goal was to recreate the blue sand/water world under the poisonous forest. The Gunship officially never visited this place but I thought it was a cool idea. Besides, the gunship from the film isn't red either, he. I reposed and resculpted the seated figure of Nausicäa into a standing pose. And I ditched the little midget that was supposed to be in the back seat. The tree-trunks were carved from insulation foam. More finished pics: albums.modelbrouwers.nl/coppermine/thumbnails.php?album=2848And in progress: home.tiscali.nl/vargen/modelbouw/nausicaa/

Okay, this one's got me stumped... does it count as mecha or non mecha...
Oooh, what did you use for the water? It looks great!

Cheers all! The water is a product called "Still Water" from Woodland Scenics. I think there are also other manufacturers that make such. It's kind of like a one-part resin (in a bottle) that levels itself. Takes about a day to dry and it can be tinted with inks, paints and what not.
