Maschinen Krieger (Ma.K.) AFS (S) Skinhead

Poor choice of a name, the Skinhead. But a cool concept nonetheless. This is a re-creation of one of the scratchbuilt models in the Maschinen Krieger-series, which were (and are) created by the incredibly creative and talented Kow Yokoyama from Japan. Basically Maschinen Krieger focusses around two opposing forces that are battling eachother in the 29th century. As a basis for these designs Mr. Yokoyama together a lot of pieces from a lot of different modelkits and thus creates his own fictional world. Some of you might have heard of him too, as he's also designed the Zoids from the Panzer Tier series.
Most of Ma.K. is created in 1/20 scale.

Now, the AFS (S) Skinhead is basically built from a battlesuit, the PKA, that was captured by the Mercenary forces when they raided an SDR (Shuttoral Demokratische Republic) storage-facillity. But there was a problem: The PKA suits they captured had no arms! So they had to add arms from their own AFS type suits. Also they replaced the transparent canopies with armour and installed an indirect sighting-mechanism, special camera's, as well as an extra fuel-reserve. Thus the Skinhead (names so due to the big bald canopy) was born.

Anyway, I tried to re-create this design as close as I could from the original. And this what came of that.

Ah! I thought they looked familiar. I always loved the look of the zoids from the Panzer Tier. Loved to get my hands on a Deathpion one day. Pretty awesome texture again ;3
