Heh, I hope I'm not overloading you guys with my "poor Zoids" posts... But I have another one which might not even be a case of "poor Zoid" but actually part of the design:
I got me a Valga. I love it, it's movement is ultra-cool. But it makes a click-click-click (about 7x) sound before doing the flip. It sounds awkward, like gears are slipping. But he does do 5 flips before stopping. So I don't think he's loosing wind-up power on it.
Maybe I'm still paranoid from my Heldy-experience (he had slipping gears) and the spines-sometimes-stopping-due-to-gear-sometimes-not-touching-other-gear thing on my (also new) Dimetrodon.
Is this click-click-click normal for the Valga, or is there actually something wrong? I'm afraid to take him apart (I tried) because the parts (especially the black armour-pieces) are pretty tight.

I think the clicking is usually the gears flexing and bending around eachother, or the built in jam protection. But I have never seen that model of zoid, so I don't know what it does. Just make sure no moving parts are jammed or something like an armor piece is pushing hard sideways on a rotating shaft or something.

Thanks Itty, due to you saying you hadn't seen this Zoid I checked out Youtube (why didn't I think of that before?), and the clicking seems normal. The ones in the video's do the same.
*Vargen pets Valga*
On a sidenote: I'd hate to be the pilot of this thing! ;D

If others are doing it too, then it's probably the setup. Valga is the first Zoid to move to like that.
It's also the first time I've seen Valga in action.... wooooo lookitim go!!
Ya, spin cycle! Also, how the heck do you see where you are going?
