I suddenly had an urge to customise a Shield Liger. I didn't have a complete Shield Liger, and I didn't want to change one of the ones I'd already customed, so I bodged something together out of spare Shield Liger and Blade Liger parts You can see right from the off what I'm missing... His head and left front leg. I have the head armour, the canopy, and the Shield Liger teeth, but the the attachment is designed for a Blade Liger, and thus the head won't fit on it. I need to try and get an incomplete Shield Liger from somewhere to make up the missing pieces, and some of the stuff already on there may be later removed if I feel it doesn't fit with the custom.

I wasn't really interested in Ligers from the offset, but after watching a lot of the Chaotic Century animé I'm really starting to appreciate the design, and even ordered myself Van's Bladey the other day. So with that in mind I'm really curious where this is going!

Really like the idea of having the Death Stinger claws as a blade unit ;D

@ Itty: I appreciate the offer, but ideally I need an incomplete one. It seems such a waste to do that to a complete one for just two parts. Thanks anyway ^^
@vargen: Yay! Van's Bladey ^^ Lol, me too... basically the only idea I had thus far was the stinger blades and the colour scheme ^^;
@ Shadow Blade: Thanks ^^ I've had them sitting around for a while since I got them from Celtic, not having a clue what to do with them, but still wanting to do something with them!

Thanks to you I finally got an idea for the pair I have ;D Hooray \o/ Oh, I wanted to make them fold up-able, but I haven't got any ideas of how to do this yet.... I'll have to search through my spare shit and see what I got that may do the biz. At this point in time, the missile arms on the Shield Liger are still able to open, earning this custom the nickname "Shield Liger Field Plough"

Ah, I was thinking you attached the blade unit by means of how the missile pod attached, or at least the angle in that photo led me to believe. That is tricky to make them fold. The only thing I can come up with right now is to do what I did with my Command Wolf Fenrir where you have the blade being able to fold out by a bionicle joint connected to the body :/

Ah! No, nothing that creative ^^; I just hacked what was left of the Stinger arms, to make two shorter arms which are glued to the missile pods.
I know what you mean about the Bionicle joint. I used the same method with my Geno Dragon's wings, 'cept I used Neoblox joints.
Somewhere I have an extra pair of Blade arms and joints... may dig those out and try to use them.
