I have a ... uhm... large model... which name I am afraid to speak seeing as I might be slaughtered due to a hyperactive moderator. (That should be hint enough. XD; ) when I was trimming it, I discovered that the batteries corroded so it's shot, so I figured I'd try flexing it. Any ideas what to do for the legs? Should I flex them or leave them be? If I were to flex them, would bionicle joints be enough (Seeing as it's so heavy) or what should I use?
How do you think I should do the 'hands'? That might be hard to flexie unless I think on it for a long time.
And anyone got any ideas how I could keep the eyes so they light up?
Please don't kill me. ._.

Not Giggles. XD I don't know who'd kill me over Giga. I got "him" recently and haven't posted that I got "him" because I value life. *edges away from Deathy, flees* He's missing pieces, don't kill me!

*Snerk*
Before posing said mystery Zoid, have you tried vinegar on the contacts? That said, if you've now got into the mindset of wanting to pose him anyway.... Yeah... I see your problem...
The arms wouldn't be a problem, since they're not supporting anything, so normal bionicle joints should suffice...
The hands.... tricky, but I may have an idea if you're up to it. Would require some hacking though.
The legs... I think Bionicle joints may be a bit too small to be able to fully support the Zoid. You may have to seek out larger ones. Though having said that, I have no experience in this area. I'm pretty sure it has been done before.

lolz I'd have to agree that the mystery zoid would be too heavy for bionicle joints. Although... I have found a way to make the a lot tighter. If you spray paint multiple layers on the ball joints and the connector pieces, they will become a lot tighter. I just tried this with my Rayse Tiger and it's worked really well. Just give them plenty of time to completely dry so the paint doesn't scratch off. Other than that I would say look on hobby link japan to see if they have any super large joints.

XD;
I'm pretty set on it now, though, it should be fun. :3
Ooh, spray paint. o.o That's a good idea. Must learn patience. Must. Learn. PATIENCE.
Part of me ponders flexing the legs of mystery zoid (don't kill me pleeease) because I don't know how much range it really had in the anime. But then again, it would still be fun!
Ooh, Ghostie, what's your hand-idea?
