..... Make up your d**n minds people! We had orange writing. ^^;
Please bear in mind that the majority of the text on the front page is links, so whatever colour we make the links, that is what we will see the most of...
Also, that skin modify page drives me nuts and I'm PMS-ing right now! ^^;
I'll go put the orange writing back see if there's something I can do about the red trim... remember there's also the News fader to think about, so maybe I can do something with red there too.
[EDIT] Tried the Table Border colour in red... was reminded why I stopped colouring my linearts that colour... so probably best to stick with the red in just the news fader, unless anyone has any other ideas...

I think it's fine as it is now. Actually it's about the same as before but that's OK with me. It's all readable again and that's what's most important.

I'm halfway through building HMM Irvine Wolf right now, but when I'm finished I could take an action shot. Or maybe we could do sort of a collage thing with the HMM, standard Irvine, and screenshots of Irvine's wolf from Chaotic Century.... Theorectically, the writing should automactically move underneath if the banner is stretched to fill the entire frame, though having never tried this I can't be certain. If the above doesn't work, and it still persists in squishing itself up against the banner, then the only other option would be to remove it entirely, which I'm a bit loathe to do, since I use that like my personal secretary *Is liable to forget to check her inbox otherwise* I've scoured Proboards for a code that'll force the inbox info underneath regardless of what size the banner is, but alas I couldn't find one... at least, not one that made any sense to me... (Itty will recall what happened the last time I tried to use the script I couldn't understand ^^ PS: Nope, I'm not |

I think just one scene would be cool. HMM CW Irvine on a nice backdrop, with maybe a snapshot from animé Irvine's face/head with his cockpit as a background (plenty of those shots in the animé) faded in on the side or so. Phenotype uses inbox-thingy underneath banner: phen0type.proboards.com/index.cgiI have no idea how Proboards works, but to me it would seem logical that there'd just be a <br> kind of tag that could do this, not? EDIT: And I see Pheno doesn't have the board/topic-name underneath like Zoidian does. Maybe that's the trick - replace the board/topic-name with the Inbox-thingy code? |

What do you guys say to a Command Wolf Irvine Collage? That is, everyone who wants to can draw a Command Wolf Irvine (Using standard, HMM OR Anime for reference) and they can all be put together for the banner. Cool beans, now for the banner.  Like the idea of everyone punching in, but maybe it's an even cooler idea to have everyone do their own complete banner. Then put some randomizer script behind it so on every reload one of the pictures is chosen at random. Of course, you'll need a place that can host such a script... But hey. EDIT: With complete banner I mean everyone sends their artwork to Ghostie or whoever who then uses it to create similar styled (fonts and such) banners. Gotta keep unity after all. |

iirc, there's ways to cram the script for random banners in the board headers themselves, if you don't mind Javascript over php. I could see what code Pheno's using.
