Friends got me this for my birthday (have to go back to school this weekend so they gave it to me early) ;D This is one of the godly masterpiece transformers that are made to be super poseable and show accurate in both robot and vehicle mode. They're usually extremely expensive (just go on ebay and you'll see) but Hasbro decided to produce them and excluded them to only be sold at Walmart (at least that's what the "Only at Walmart" sticker said on his box). So yay affordable awesomeness!!! NOW BRING BACK AFFORDABLE ZOIDS HASBRO!!!!! Detail wise, he's freakin amazing and poseability is just under the Revoltech figure. Overall I give it a 4 out of 5. Woulda been 5 if all the fingers were completely poseable so I can make him flick off Starscream (not like Skywarp hasn't done that already XD;) ... Hayate is NOT going to be happy with this XD Hayate Liger: ¬¬ "I will kill you!" Epic pose is epic...  Size comparison shot. Yeah he's huge XD  |

We wanna see fighter mode! lol yeah that's my goal today. Took me an hour to transform him the first time XD [edit] Ok here's Skywarp transformed into his F-15 fighter jet alt mode. For the most part he transforms just like his G1 toy does, but with a lot more steps/pieces. Wish their was more purple on him though :<   |

Wow, fighter-mode looks absolutely cool! What I hate about the usual Transformers is that you can always see that it's a Transformer, with all the bendy parts and what not sticking out. And in robot mode most are so static and clumsy... But these masterpiece ones seem to solve this! I might actually have to look for one sometime. Not a huge Transformers-fan, but I have some good memories from the cartoons. Although I can't remember most of their names. EDIT: Just looked around, but it seems my favourite from the cartoons, Grimlock, is still a donky disco-dino even in expensive Masterpiece form.  |

Yeah Grimlock and Megatron's masterpiece isn't the greatest. Only the 3 Seekers and Optimus's masterpiece looks amazing. My friend actually has a Grimlock figure where his dino mode looks like the Beserk Fury XD |

Hmm, bummer... By the way, I also saw there's Coronation-sets for Starscream and Skywarp. Kinda odd, as I can only recall Starscream ever being (self-)coronated (before being blown to bits by the ever awesome Galvaspock)... But then again, I can't particularly remember Skywarp from the cartoons anyway.

Yeah they made coronation sets for both Starscream and Skywarp and I have no idea why they made one for Skywarp. Like you said, Starscream was the only one to be (self)coronated. Doesn't even fit Skywarp's personality since he never remotely about leadership. He was just there for the ride really. I guess they just made one for him to sell more stuff or just cuz it looks good on him.
