The above video shows the test conducted on Jan 10th against a dummy missile in which the ABL lights the target and tracks it but does not fire.
Yesterday, the Boeing YAL-1 Airbourne Laser Testbed destroyed a ballistic missile in its boost phase at Point Mugu's Naval Air Warfare Center-Weapons Division Sea Range off Ventura in central California.
