lol Celtic! We have all Carmike Cinemas here. And they pretty much vary in look (though all of them have digial projectors now so the pic quality is always really good). Your story totally reminds me of our one theater here that we call "the sticky floor" theater (which is also a Carmike) and just like it's title, shoes stuck to floor stickiness, broken seats, and you don't ever want to go into the bathroom. When we went to go see Cloverfield there, my friend Jim sat down and the seat fell through! We about died of laughter, including the kids behind us. A few weeks later we came back to see Iron Man and it was showing in the same room. The seat he fell through was now covered in a black garbage bag. The awesome part of the theater is that sometimes they just let you in for free. Normal ticket price is $4 something.
Then there's 2 other good carmikes. The one even has stadium style seats so you don't have to worry about seeing over people. Their tickets are $5 matinee, $8-9 evening. (and of course more for 3D)
OH! I forgot the Lowe's Theater! They have reclineable seats! XD

Blimey Celtic, is the projector still hand-cranked? In the parts of the film where there's no sound does a little guy on a piano down at the front start playing and bits of card are interjected in conversations in the film to show what people are saying? www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fd6izyWr9dABEST. VIDEO. EVER. Oh man, before the Pioneer redid their seats (when they had no cupholders), I think about a quarter of the seats were bad. But they've redone the seats, carpets, wall curtains... XD |

Changed my ava and personal text and took away the Orochimaru sig. XD
I couldn't help it, I realised a trailer had this face which, the moment I saw it in the movie, I went, "OMG, that's the face I always make when people do stupid shit!" (IE: e_e )
So I had to make myself an icon. Though I think I might try to recapture the image and save it better quality. Either way, I love that e_e face. XD

Thanks to the music on a video (that I can't post, it's political), I started thinking of Avatar the movie and browsed IMVU and ... Demise was born. So now I have made an icon/ava set for him. (full album here) Had to remove Blacknight, because I didn't like how it looked. XD; |
