LOL! haha, Stinky no like stinky name. Let's talk about why we named our cats what we did!  Peaches - She's a tabby-calico with lots of peach-coloured spots. I nickname her Drool-baby because she does so if you pet her alot, and Brat because she behaves like one. Irvine - I would not let mom name him Kareem (Cream maybe... "Peaches and Cream" but she wanted Kareem), and I was tied between Bianco and Irvine. Admittedly Bianco would've fit better, but he seemed to like Irvine. We also call him Goober, Goof, and Urpvine. Because he is silly ... goofy... and has a sensitive stomach so whenever the weather changes, he 'urps'. Jewel - Almost went a day without a name because we couldn't decide! Jewel stuck because everyone liked it. (If Jewel was a boy, I would've named her Malachite because her fur is so very dark-silvery, but it's too much of a boy name.) We also call her psycho, spazz and the tabbyssinian devil. XD She's very hyper, and we're certain she has Abyssinian in her (thanks to the fact that most of the places we find list them as hyper and companion loving, but holding hating cats and how much she looks like a tabby-fied version of a blue abyssinian). Cricket - used to be a neighbourhood cat, and whenever she speaks, she makes this hoarse chirp like meow. For some reason, it made me think of a cricket, so I called her that. She now lives with my grandparents because we believe someone purposefully stepped on her paw. (The vet said it was stepped on, the bones in the toes were crushed. And I don't know about the rest of you, but whenever I stepped on a cat accidentally, I've never broken toes.) |

Not sure about the origin their real names but our lot have a tonne of nicknames:
Isis: Booboo (Actually, no idea why she's called that), Princess (Cuz she's the Princess ^^), Fossil (Cuz she's 21. Currently she's also called Fossilwobble because one of her back legs has stopped working and she keeps falling over)
Tigger: Du Tig (Mutation of The Tig), Tig Tog (As in Tick tock, in reference to a time bomb), Tigging Time Bomb (As in Ticking Time Bomb), Boutique (Mutation of Du Tig), Monster (Because he is)
Mishka: Mouse (She squeaks like one), Flobby Blobby (She has a floppy belly), Box (She loves boxes), Face hugger (Yeah, she does that)
Nikita: Nunu (I fear from Teletubbies but I'm not certain), Nikita Fleameter (Your guess is as good as mine) Short fat (She's a short fat cat)

I have two XD; Tho I had no control over their names as I was 4 when I got them.
Rebbi= named after a Beatrix Potter cat
Tabitha= also named after a Beatrix Potter cat
That is all I know from mum who named them. And I was into Beatrix Potter at the time, she's brilliant. I love all her little stories. And still do.

I only have one cat but she has many many nicknames!
Millie (her actual name, chosen by me, she was originally called Fudge), Fatty McFatfat, Tubsy McLardington, Chubby McChubchub, Millzy, Mill-cat, Centi, Centimus, Flop-cat.
Dot and Dash had a few nicknames :/
Dash (my brother was doing morse code in scouts when we got them), Fat-Cat (he was actually just fluffy), Smelly Cat, Sylvester
Dot (morse code thing, again), Fuzz-Butt, Pillow-cat, Dotty.

Booboo came from the name Icy-bicy-lemon-spicy-boo-boo. You also forgot the Goddess, so called for obvious reasons.

Can't think of any you've missed
Skunk (she puffs her tail up and farts), Mumu, Mimi.
Can't quite remember how Nunu came about but I don't think it was related to Teletubbies, possibly came out before them.
Unifang - She only has one upper fang
Dribblebox - She's started dribbling in her old age
Short fat is short for Short Fat Black Cat which was originally a designation for Isis but when Isis lost her belly and Nikita gained one, the name was passed on.
