Forgive me I still kinda dont see the problem ^^;

If we go by the typical stats off of the models, an Organoid System enhances ability, and is used for Gun Sniper, Rev Raptor, all the way up to Geno Breaker. Berserk Fury, Liger Zero, and Konig Wolf (to name a few) use a Wild Zoid, and dont have an organoid system. Gojulas Giga doesthe same thing.

Wanted to clear that up before we went nuts on voting.

No no, I didn't mean the organoid system XD

I meant that using stats could complicate things, because you'd constantly have to be referring back to the stats while you were posting your responses. Personally I think that you'd just need a basic idea of how powerful/defensive etc. one zoid is when compared to another.

That, well, I can help there too! I can actually say what a certain type of Zoid was ment for.

Example, Rev Raptors where designed to get passed the sniper tail of it's Republican Cousin and take it out close range.

If you have a basic idea of it's capabilities without stuff like the Organoid System or Wild Zoid Base then things run smoothly. Would it help if I posted a link to a site for Zoid choices and information?

EDIT: Sorry, dont mean to thread-jack. Just wanting to clear up confusion for everyone so they know exactly what's going on as well.

I'm still on the fence about a combat-based RP. I think it'd be more fun for everyone if its free-roam, but with the option for a tournament, like the best of both worlds. Since I'm sure I'm not the only person here who doesn't like tournaments. I've been in them before, and tournament-based RPs don't last long.

lol. Yeah, free roam RP means anything goes! And, I'm stat-ignorant when it comes to Zoids. _A_ I basically just go on what the anime says. Like... Blade Ligers kick anythings butt, Shield Ligers are good against Zaber Fangs (Saber Tigers or whatever the heck their called 'officially') and Geno Breakers nuke the crap outta anything.

... hmm... I probably just missed the whole point but hey... I'm sick and not thinking straight. *flails*

I do believe Celtic posted a link to a thread full of stats. I'll have to find it again.
And showing your personal custom that is done with official weapons and the likes, is a good idea, so we can see that it is really using known weaponries. Like my Dark Deathy, based off Mega Death Saurer, makes the use of the CP-03 Dark Horn gattling and the CP-10 Gojulas Supercannon along with its quad barrel gun.. makes things a little fairer.

I'll see what we can do about a RP board... tho I usually find them abandoned in a lot of forums, so it'll be a matter of how used the board will be....

So can someone just summarize what was decided then? Because I got a little lost. As far as I can see...
free roam? Sounds good to me...

Custom-outfitted Zoids would be a nice touch!! I'm not sure if we decided on free roam... that was my personal preference but everyone else seemed dead-set on a tournament... *shrugs*

But completely Custom Zoids wouldn't be allowed, right? Like fan-made Zoids?

It's preferable that complete fanmade Zoids aren't used.... even if you tried saying their power is like a Geno Breaker or something...

I'd say we stick with customs that makes use of official weapons or partial modded official weapons like sawn off CP-04 Command Wolf cannons that the Sabres made use of in the Tiger Spirit ep.

Not allowing unofficial zoids is a good idea.. Especially since mine mostly have descriptions that go something like: "It's a bit like a zaber fang but really, really, crap."

Yeah, that's what I was afraid of. In another forum I'm in where fan-made Zoids are allowed all heck broke loose because people got into squabbles over 'whose was better' and 'my Zoids cooler and stronger than yours is!!' >.> I'd prefer that not happen again here.

And custom-modded Zoids would be best. Like... a Zaber Fang Old with stock weapons but unusual color scheme and whatnot as long as it doesn't go over the top, like a Command Wolf with a CPC or something wild like that. XD

Free-roam with some tournaments, similar to Legacy

Only canon Zoids with upgrades that are REASONABLE

Absolutely NO Organoids

I did post the Battle Legends zoids list to help... Was it not good enough? I haven't tried a legacy list because I got chewed out for even thinking about it on another forum.

Also: someone mentioned cannon characters and that threw up a flag for me... Do we really want to have someone using cannon characters? Just my experience, but I did have someone bitch me out for being Brad Hunter in a forum RP a long time ago before things went south.
