I've noticed a few people don't know how to do this, so I made a quick tutorial! Using this, you can colour below any lineart, so long as its on a white background. It's dead simple and only takes a minute or so to do, and it won't affect how dark your lines are. Neat, huh?

Ooooh, that's simpler than the one I was taught... Although mine probably works better if your background isn't completely white.

oooh? This is just the method my sister taught me, but a lot of the time when I scan stuff the background's a bit grey so the colours don't show properly.
What do you do :o?

My lineart usually never looks pretty so when I colour, I do it in transparent layers over the original work. I just never have clean enough line work. XD; Comes with the territory of being freehand, I suppose.
